Key Responsibilities
-Image Digitizing: Mapping physical features and land-use patterns from aerial/satellite imagery.
-GIS Database Management: Maintaining and updating spatial databases.
-Technical Support: Contributing to GIS and photogrammetry tasks for planning projects.

Requirements
-Experience: 1–2 years of experience in GIS/Digitizing, or fresh graduates with strong relevant academic projects are welcome to apply.
-Technical Skills: Proficiency in digitizing Physical Features and Land Use from images.
-Strong knowledge of GIS software (Hands-on experience with ArcGIS is preferred).

Note: Prior experience in stereo digitizing is not strictly required, but willingness to learn is essential.

Personal Attributes: High level of accuracy, keen eye for detail, and ability to work efficiently in a team.

Today, The Decode Ltd. successfully organized a seminar in collaboration with Vantor (formerly Maxar / DigitalGlobe), focusing on Vantor’s latest 𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬, 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐔𝐁 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦.

The seminar was graced by representatives from key organizations — including 𝐒𝐎𝐁, 𝐂𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐒, 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐒𝐎, 𝐃𝐋𝐑𝐒, 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐈𝐖𝐅𝐌 (𝐁𝐔𝐄𝐓), 𝐔𝐃𝐃, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐖𝐌 — who are among the core users and purchasers of commercial satellite data in Bangladesh.

The session featured two distinguished speakers from Vantor:

2️⃣ 𝐌𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐚 𝐆𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐡, Solutions Engineering Manager, SAARC

The program began with a warm 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐫. 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐦, Managing Director of The Decode Ltd., followed by insightful presentations and live demonstrations from the Vantor team.

It was an engaging and interactive session where participants, Vantor officials, and The Decode Ltd. team exchanged valuable discussions on satellite imagery applications and future opportunities.

The seminar concluded with a networking lunch, marking a successful and productive event.

🌍 Drone Mapping for WASH & Sanitation — Cumilla City Corporation Survey Completed! 🚀

After weeks of continuous project work, The Decode Ltd. team has successfully completed the drone-based topographic survey for Cumilla City Corporation under the WASH & Sanitation Planning Project for the Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE), in collaboration with Bapitech.

📅 The field survey was carried out between October 14–21, 2025, using:
🛰️ DJI Matrice 350 RTK with Zenmuse P1 camera for high-precision aerial photogrammetry
📡 DJI D-RTK 2 for real-time positioning
📍 Emlid RS2+ & RS3 GNSS receivers for accurate Ground Control Point (GCP) collection

Due to sensitivity restrictions, areas such as Cumilla Cantonment, Cumilla Airport, BGB Headquarters, and a few KPI zones were excluded — but the rest of the city was successfully surveyed.

This project was led by Junayet Hossain, Photogrammetrist & GIS Analyst at The Decode Ltd., who managed the UAV operations, GCP coordination, and overall field ex*****on with the support of our dedicated team.

Cumilla’s mix of heritage sites and growing urban landscape made this an exciting and meaningful project for our team.
We’re proud to continue supporting DPHE and Bapitech in strengthening WASH & Sanitation planning through advanced drone technology and geospatial solutions.

🚀 Drone-Based Topographic Survey Completed at Haziganj Pourashava 🌍

After successfully completing the Chandpur Pourashava survey, our team at The Decode Ltd. has now completed the 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 for 𝐇𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐣 𝐏𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐚 under the WASH & Sanitation Planning Project for the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐃𝐏𝐇𝐄), in collaboration with Bapitech.

📅 The survey was conducted between October 10th and 13th, following the same high-precision geospatial workflow used in Chandpur — including DJI Matrice 350 RTK with Zenmuse P1, DJI D-RTK 2, and Emlid RS2+/RS3 GNSS for GCP data collection.

During the field operations, our team also had a valuable consultation with the Assistant Engineer of Haziganj Pourashava, who visited the survey site and observed the ongoing aerial mapping process.

This project is being led on behalf of The Decode Ltd. by Junayet Hossain , Photogrammetrist & GIS Analyst, who is coordinating field ex*****on and drone-based data acquisition under the WASH & Sanitation Planning initiative.

Our next destination: Cumilla City Corporation, where the next phase of the project is already underway! 💧✨

Continuing Our Aerial Survey for DPHE — Chandpur Pourashava Completed!

After facing days of challenging weather, our team at The Decode Ltd. successfully completed the 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 for 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐩𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐚 under the WASH & Sanitation Planning Project for the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐃𝐏𝐇𝐄), in collaboration with Bapitech.

From October 5th to 9th, we carried out detailed aerial mapping and ground control measurements using:
-DJI Matrice 350 RTK with Zenmuse P1 camera
-DJI D-RTK 2 for precise real-time kinematic positioning
-Emlid RS2+ & RS3 GNSS receivers for accurate GCP data collection

Despite rain and unpredictable field conditions, our team stayed on the ground, ensuring complete spatial coverage and centimeter-level accuracy of the survey.

This project is being led on behalf of The Decode Ltd. by Junayet Hossain, Photogrammetrist & GIS Analyst, who is overseeing field operations and aerial survey ex*****on.

Now, we’re heading toward Haziganj Pourashava (Chandpur) for the next phase of the same project.

This effort continues our commitment at 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐋𝐭𝐝 to applying drone photogrammetry and geospatial intelligence to improve WASH infrastructure planning across Bangladesh 🌍💧

The Decode Ltd., in collaboration with Bapitech, has embarked on an important aerial survey project for the Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE). This initiative will cover Chandpur, Haziganj, Laksam Municipality, and Cumilla City Corporation, applying cutting-edge drone and geospatial technology to transform planning in the Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) sector.

Using the DJI Matrice 350 RTK with Zenmuse P1, our team is conducting high-precision photogrammetric surveys to produce:
✅ Accurate 2D orthomosaics & 3D terrain models
✅ Reliable spatial datasets for infrastructure planning
✅ Insights to improve sanitation, drainage, and water supply design

Recently, despite challenging weather in Chandpur, our team conducted the initial field session with the presence of senior DPHE officials and consultants, including the Deputy Team Leader (Ex-Chief Engineer, DPHE). While rain postponed outdoor flights, our Project Lead in the field, Junayet Hossain (Photogrammetrist & GIS Analyst, The Decode Ltd.), demonstrated how drone-based surveys deliver accuracy, efficiency, and practical applications for WASH planning.

This project represents a major step forward in applying geospatial technology for sustainable urban and rural development. We look forward to completing the full surveys under suitable weather conditions and delivering actionable data that will directly support smarter, more resilient planning.

Immediate Hiring: GIS Assistant (Short-Term)
The Decode Ltd.

We are urgently hiring 5 GIS Assistants for a short-term project to digitize 2D building features from orthophotos. This is a mid-level position, and prior experience in 2D digitization work is mandatory. No training will be provided, and applicants must be ready to start immediately.

Job Details:
Position: GIS Assistant

Type: Short-Term Contract
Location: Office-based (The Decode Ltd, BDBL Bhaban, Dhaka)
Salary: Negotiable (to be discussed during the interview)
Schedule: 6 days/week (08:00 AM – 04:00 PM)
Target: 100-120 features per hour
Selection Process: A short practical test will be conducted before final confirmation

Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience in similar 2D digitization work is essential.
Skills: Proficiency in using ArcMap (must have your own laptop with ArcMap installed).
