Many of you know that our founder, Late Mohammad Ali, was the pioneer of the metal button manufacturing industry in Bangladesh. He built the foundation. Today, we are deeply humbled and proud to share that we have officially written a structural new chapter in that history.
We just received the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (Product Class I) certification from Germany, for our metal accessories at M. ALI TRIMS! Alhamdulillah.
For those who work in the garments industry, OEKO-TEX® itself isn't a new name. But in the metal accessories industry, achieving this is NOTORIOUSLY DIFFICULT. Unlike fabric or labels, there are absolutely no shortcuts here. Meeting this standard requires deep metallurgical knowledge, highly precise plating chemistry, and flawless environmental sustainability. The proof is in the ultra-exclusive numbers:
🔹 In the 48-year history of Bangladesh’s massive RMG export industry, only 5 Bangladeshi-owned factories have ever achieved this certificate for metal accessories before us.
🔹 Globally, only around 40 factories currently hold this elite standard for metal.
"Product Class I" is the highest, most brutal safety tier under global standards. It means our metal components are strictly tested and certified 100% safe even for babies and toddlers under 3 years old. Every single component is rigorously tested for over 1,000 harmful substances, and only when it clears every single threshold does it earn this global stamp of safety.
This milestone showcases the depth of quality, technical capability, and compliance that M. ALI TRIMS stands for. From a raw idea pioneered by our founder to standing among the top 40 factories in the world—we are proof that Bangladeshi heavy manufacturing can lead global standards.
