Previously it was known as a Stamford college group, later it was upgraded as private university of Bangladesh in 2002 and appeared as Stamford University Bangladesh. The university belongs to Stamford University & College Group. It is also having the highest number of students (around 26000) among all the private varsities in Bangladesh. rica, Australia and America. Stamford University is the first and only ISO certified university in Bangladesh.
