A turnkey contract is a contract where a contractor plans, designs, builds, and commissions a project. The contractor is responsible for the entire project, from start to finish. The project is ready to use as soon as it's complete, requiring little to no additional work from the client.
When are turnkey contracts used?
Construction projects, such as stadiums, power plants, and refineries
Engineering projects
Manufacturing projects
Large international infrastructure projects
What does the contractor do? Obtains permits, Manages materials, Hires subcontractors, Supervises construction, and Delivers the completed project.
