The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. – 𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘 is the world's leading technical & professional organization dedicated to the advancement of technology for the greater benefit of humanity. The beginning of the organization dates back to 1884 as the 𝗔𝗜𝗘𝗘 – American Institute of Electrical Engineers. In 1963 the 𝗔𝗜𝗘𝗘 and 𝗜𝗥𝗘 (Institute of Radio Engineer
s, 1912) merged together to form the 𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘. IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow through its more than 419,000 members in over 160 countries, and its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. IEEE is the trusted “voice” for engineering, computing, and technology information around the globe.
𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘 – 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟬 | 𝘄𝘄𝘄.𝗶𝗲𝗲𝗲𝗿𝟭𝟬.𝗼𝗿𝗴
The IEEE Region 10, referred to as the Asia Pacific Region was created on January 1, 1967. At present Region 10 comprises 56 Sections, 5 Councils, 8 Sub-sections, 334 Chapters, and 490 student branches. It covers a geographical area stretching from South Korea and Japan in the North-East to New Zealand in the South, and Bangladesh, Pakistan in the West. With a membership of over 67,500, it is one of the largest regions in IEEE Global.
𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗕𝗗𝗦) | 𝘄𝘄𝘄.𝗶𝗲𝗲𝗲𝗯𝗱.𝗻𝗲𝘁
The IEEE Bangladesh Section (𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘 𝗕𝗗𝗦) is the local section of 𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘, New Jersey, USA. The IEEE headquarters in New Jersey approved the Bangladesh Section on November 20, 1993, and the GEO Code is R0073. IEEE AUST Student Branch (IASB) is the Student Branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), Dhaka. It is the only professional and international students' organization in AUST and has brought glory with achievements in both national and international events. Formed in 2003, IASB is the first-ever student branch in a private university and 4th student branch to be formed throughout the country. Through organizing various Technical/non-technical Workshops, Seminars, Networking Programs, Administrative Meetings, Competitive Events, and Industrial Tours, the IEEE AUST Student Branch promises to enhance the professional qualities of the students and help students develop a sense of responsibility towards greater benefit for humanity. The mission of the IEEE AUST Student Branch is to help students develop knowledge about technological innovation and flourish in excellence in the field of electrical and electronic devices and in computer technologies. IEEE AUST Student Branch has a vision to be beneficial for students to get connected with the global technical community, and technical professionals everywhere. The students will build up leadership quality through the vast existing network which will help them to improve global conditions and also humanity.
