নর্থওয়েস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটি প্রথম ২০২২ সালে এই আশ্চর্য মাইক্রো-রোবটটি তৈরি করে। কাঁকড়ার আকারের এই রোবটটি এখনো পর্যন্ত বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে ছোট রিমোট-কন্ট্রোলড রোবট — মাত্র ০.৫ মিলিমিটার চওড়া, যা একটি পেনির কিনারাতেও বসতে পারে!

এই রোবটটি ব্যাটারি ছাড়াই কাজ করে, লেজার লাইটের মাধ্যমে নিয়ন্ত্রিত হয়। এটি হাটতে, মোড়াতে, ঘুরতে এমনকি লাফাতেও পারে। এতে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে বিশেষ ধাতব উপাদান যা তাপ পেলে আকৃতি বদলায় (shape-memory alloy)।

কেন এটা যুগান্তকারী?
এই মাইক্রো-ক্র্যাব রোবট ভবিষ্যতে চিকিৎসায় ব্যবহার হতে পারে—মানব শরীরের ভেতরে ওষুধ পৌঁছে দিতে, ক্ষত স্থান পরীক্ষা করতে কিংবা জটিল যন্ত্রাংশের ভিতরে ঢুকে কাজ করতে পারে।

জার্মানি ভারী শিল্পখাতে বিপ্লব ঘটিয়ে বিশ্বের প্রথম "শূন্য নির্গমন" ইস্পাত কারখানা চালু করেছে। Salzgitter AG দ্বারা নির্মিত এই পথপ্রদর্শক কারখানাটি কয়লার পরিবর্তে গ্রিন হাইড্রোজেন ব্যবহার করে, যা উৎপাদন খাতে এক ঐতিহাসিক পরিবর্তনের ইঙ্গিত দেয়।

এই নতুন প্লান্টটি প্রচলিত উচ্চ কার্বন নির্ভর ব্লাস্ট ফার্নেসের পরিবর্তে হাইড্রোজেন-ভিত্তিক পরিচ্ছন্ন প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহার করে। এর ফলে CO₂ নির্গমন ৯৫% এরও বেশি হ্রাস পায়, যা পরিবেশবান্ধব ইস্পাতের বৃহৎ পরিসরে উৎপাদনকে সম্ভব করে তোলে।

✅ জনসচেতনতা ও প্রশিক্ষণ: শ্রমিক ও উদ্যোক্তাদের প্রশিক্ষণ দিয়ে নতুন প্রযুক্তিতে দক্ষ করে তুলতে হবে।
