Bangladesh Robot Olympiad : BDRO Official communication platform for Bangladesh Robot Olympiad (BdRO). The winners of the competition represent Bangladesh in the International Robot Olympiad.

The Bangladesh Robot Olympiad is an annual competition that aims to promote interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education among young people in Bangladesh. ২। এই লেকচারের কোন রেকর্ড থাকবে না। তাই শিক্ষার্থীকে যথাযথভাবে ইন্টারনেট সংযোগ বজায় রেখে সরাসরি অনলাইন লেকচারে অংশ নিতে হবে।

আজ রাজধানীর ধানমন্ডিতে বিডিওএসএন অফিসে শেষ হল সাবথিম এনালাইসিস ক্যাম্প। বাংলাদেশ রোবট অলিম্পিয়াড ও বাংলাদেশ ওপেন সোর্স নেটওয়ার্ক যৌথভাবে ক্যাম্পটি আয়োজন করেছে।

দুইদিনব্যাপী আয়োজিত এই ক্যাম্পে আইআরও বাংলাদেশ ওপেন ২০২৬ প্রতিযোগিতার প্রস্তুতির অংশ হিসেবে শিক্ষার্থীরা এবছরের মূলথিম অর্থাৎ কালচারাল হেরিটেজ সার্ভিস রোবট নিয়ে বিভিন্ন অনুশীলনীমূলক কাজ সম্পন্ন করে। পাশাপাশি নির্দিষ্ট রিসার্চ ফ্রেমওয়ার্কের সাথে তারা পরিচিত হয় ও এই ফ্রেমওয়ার্ক ব্যবহার করে সম্ভাব্য বিভিন্ন বাস্তব সমস্যা ও সাবথিম নিয়ে অনুসন্ধান করে।
সবশেষে সার্টিফিকেট বিতরণের মাধ্যমে এই ক্যাম্প সমাপ্ত হয়। বাংলাদেশ রোবট অলিম্পিয়াড সামনেও এমন বিভিন্ন অফলাইন ও অনলাইন বিভিন্ন কর্মকাণ্ড বজায় রাখবে এবছরের রোবট অলিম্পিয়াডের জন্য প্রস্তুতি নেবার জন্য।

Every year at the IRO Bangladesh Open, one or more specific subthemes are assigned at the venue. Participants are given an immediate challenge to design robots that can solve problems based on those subthemes.

The main theme for this year is Cultural Heritage Service Robots.
To explore and analyze possible subthemes emerging from this main theme, the Bangladesh Robot Olympiad and the Bangladesh Open Source Network are jointly organizing a special preparatory camp focused on research and subtheme analysis.

Eligibility for participation: Any Bangladeshi student who is interested in participating in the Robot Olympiad, from class 4 to class 12, may take part.

Registration fee: 1600 Taka

Camp schedule: 22 and 23 May 2026 (Each day from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM)

The number of seats is limited. Registration will be closed once all seats are filled.

Important note: Registration is non cancellable and non refundable.

In this camp, robot building will not be taught. However, students who plan to participate in this year’s Robot Olympiad will receive detailed guidance on how to conduct research based on the subtheme, identify real world problems, and develop proper planning strategies for designing robots to solve those problems.

Additional information:
A. Every participating student will receive a certificate of participation.
B. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop or mobile device along with mobile data, although this is not mandatory.
C. No food will be provided during the workshop. However, students may bring their own food if needed.
D. Students must bring a school identification card or birth certificate for identity verification.

এই ক্যাম্পে রোবট তৈরি করা শিখানো হবে না। কিন্তু যারা রোবট অলিম্পিয়াডে এবছর অংশ নিতে চায় তাদের বিস্তারিত দিকনির্দেশনা দেয়া হবে কীভাবে এবছর সাবথিম নিয়ে রিসার্চ করে বিভিন্ন সমস্যা খুঁজে বের করতে হবে এবং সেই অনুযায়ী রোবট তৈরি করে সমস্যা সমাধানের জন্য কীভাবে যথাযথ পরিকল্পনা করা যাবে।

বিশেষ দ্রষ্টব্য -
ক) ক্যাম্পে অংশগ্রহণকারী প্রত্যেক শিক্ষার্থী ক্যাম্পে অংশগ্রহণের সার্টিফিকেট পাবে।
খ) শিক্ষার্থীকে নিজের ল্যাপটপ/মোবাইল ও মোবাইল ডাটা সাথে করে নিয়ে আসতে পারলে ভালো, তবে আনা বাধ্যতামূলক নয়।
গ) কর্মশালায় কোন খাবার দেয়া হবে না, কিন্তু চাইলে শিক্ষার্থীরা নিজেদের জন্য খাবার সাথে আনতে পারবে।

The office of the Bangladesh Robot Olympiad is open to robotics enthusiasts. In addition to regularly hosting various robotics workshops, robotics lovers may also visit at other times by taking a prior appointment.
