China has taken a major leap in global digital infrastructure by launching the world’s first commercial 10G network in Sunan, Hebei Province. Built through a collaboration between China Unicom and Huawei, this project pushes the country to the front of the international telecom race. With speeds once thought impossible, the new network marks a huge step forward in how fast data can move across large populations.

The system delivers download speeds close to 9,834 Mbps and upload speeds around 1,008 Mbps, all with ultra-low latency under three milliseconds.
