শেয়ারবাজারে তালিকাভুক্ত সিমেন্ট খাতের বহুজাতিক প্রতিষ্ঠান লাফার্জহোলসিম চলতি বছরের প্রথম নয় মাসে ২,১৬৬ কোটি টাকার ব্যবসা ও ৩৫৬ কোটি টাকার মুনাফা করেছে। একই সঙ্গে কোম্পানিটি শেয়ারহোল্ডারদের জন্য ১৮ শতাংশ অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন নগদ লভ্যাংশ ঘোষণা করেছে। এতে প্রতিটি শেয়ারের বিপরীতে লভ্যাংশ দেওয়া হবে ১ টাকা ৮০ পয়সা করে।

লাফার্জহোলসিম জানিয়েছে, চলতি বছরের প্রথম নয় মাসে তাদের মুনাফা আগের বছরের তুলনায় ২৫ কোটি টাকা বা প্রায় ৭.৫ শতাংশ বেড়েছে। গত বছরের একই সময়ে কোম্পানিটি মুনাফা করেছিল ৩৩১ কোটি টাকা, যা এবার বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ৩৫৬ কোটিতে।

এর মধ্যে শুধু জুলাই–সেপ্টেম্বর প্রান্তিকেই কোম্পানিটি ১২০ কোটি টাকা মুনাফা করেছে—অর্থাৎ মোট মুনাফার প্রায় ৩৪ শতাংশ এসেছে এই তিন মাসে। আর্থিক প্রতিবেদনের তথ্যানুযায়ী, গত বছরের একই প্রান্তিকের তুলনায় এবার মুনাফা বেড়েছে ৩২ কোটি টাকা বা ৩৬ শতাংশ। ২০২৩ সালের জুলাই–সেপ্টেম্বরে কোম্পানিটির মুনাফা ছিল ৮৮ কোটি টাকা।
