🔧 Pressure Transmitter Zero Calculation — সহজ বাংলায়

Pressure Transmitter-এর Zero Check হলো এমন একটি পরীক্ষা, যেখানে Differential Pressure শূন্য অবস্থায় Transmitter-এর Output Current যাচাই করা হয়।

একটি Differential Pressure (DP) Transmitter-এর ক্ষেত্রে:

Pᴴ = Pᴸ

অর্থাৎ High Pressure এবং Low Pressure—দুই পাশে চাপ সমান হলে এটিই Zero Condition। এই অবস্থায় আদর্শ Output হওয়া উচিত 4 mA।

🧮 Calculation Example

ধরা যাক:

🔹 Range: 0–10 bar
🔹 Output: 4–20 mA
🔹 Measured Zero Current: 3.84 mA

সূত্র:

Zero Error = [(Iᶻ − 4) / 16] × (URV − LRV)

তাহলে,

Zero Error = [(3.84 − 4) / 16] × (10 − 0)

= (−0.16 / 16) × 10

= −0.10 bar

✅ সঠিক Zero Error = −0.10 bar

⚠️ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ: কোনো ইনফোগ্রাফিকে যদি −0.01 bar দেখানো থাকে, তাহলে সেটি গণনাগতভাবে ভুল। প্রদত্ত মান অনুযায়ী সঠিক ফলাফল −0.10 bar।

🎯 Zero Calibration কেন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ?

Transmitter-এর Zero সঠিক না হলে পুরো 4–20 mA measurement range-এ systematic error তৈরি হতে পারে। এর ফলে—

✅ PLC/DCS-এ ভুল Pressure Reading
✅ Alarm/Trip-এ ভুল Trigger
✅ Process Control-এ ভুল সিদ্ধান্ত
✅ Flow ও Level Measurement-এ Error
✅ Process Monitoring-এ সমস্যা

তাই সঠিক Measurement ও Process Control-এর জন্য Zero Verification এবং Calibration অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
