Ananda Shipyard & Slipways Ltd. Ananda Shipyards and Slipways Ltd. is a Bangladeshi shipbuilding company. It is a part of the Ananda Group of companies.

It is the first Bangladeshi shipbuilding company to deliver a seagoing vessel to foreign customers.

A seminar on “Anchor of Growth: Diversifying Exports Through Mid-Sized Shipbuilding” was held on 17 January 2026 at Hotel Bengal Blueberry, Gulshan 2, Dhaka, bringing together industry leaders and stakeholders to discuss the future of Bangladesh’s shipbuilding sector.

Our Honorable Deputy Managing Director, Abdullah Nahid Nigar, represented Ananda Shipyard & Slipways Ltd. as a panelist and contributed to an engaging discussion on how strengthening mid-sized shipbuilding can drive export diversification, create employment opportunities, and enhance long-term industrial competitiveness for Bangladesh.
