HERA SWEATERS LIMITED is a next generation sweater factory, designed to cater to the world.

In 2016, a group of like-minded entrepreneurs, already successfully engaged in various other businesses, felt inclined to undertake something new and challenging - a new business venture driven by innovation and foresight. That is how Hera Sweaters Limited (HSL), a Next-Generation Green Sweater Factory, came into being. The idea was to produce quality products by a team of committed and satisfied

professionals, where profit would be a logical sequence. HSL would cares for its dedicated team, the shared values, the uncompromising quality of products, and the vibrant community in which HSL thrives. From July 1, 2018, Hera Sweaters Limited started its journey with the goal of -“Taking quality to the next level.”

We are a LEED GOLD Certified Green Sweater Factory.

400 German STOLL Jacquard knitting Machines and a team of around 1,300 skilled people are giving their best efforts to fulfill our shared goal. As thought leaders, we are trying to innovate and experiment with new ideas. HSL believes that a company cannot consider itself truly remarkable unless it makes an effort to pay back what it receives from the community and the environment. Factory Address:

It was a deeply emotional moment for all of us at Hera Sweaters Limited.
Bidding farewell to our respected Ex Managing Director & CEO, Md. Mostaqur Rahman FCMA was not easy. He was not just a leader by position, but a true visionary who inspired, guided, and stood beside every member of the HSL family. From management to workers especially our workers shared a unique bond with him. The attachment, respect, and love were evident as the entire environment became heavy with emotion.
He led not only with strategy and excellence, but with heart. That is why his absence will be felt far beyond the workplace.
Yet, amidst this emotional farewell, there is immense pride. Seeing him take on the prestigious responsibility as the Governor of Bangladesh Bank is a moment of honor for all of us. It reflects his integrity, capability, and the impact of his leadership.
While we will miss him dearly, we firmly believe that just as Hera Sweaters Limited was fortunate to grow under his guidance, the entire nation will now benefit from his wisdom and leadership.
We pray for his continued success and strength in this new journey of nation building.

High Commissioner visit — Her Excellency Ms Abida Islam, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the United Kingdom, visited the HSL stall during the second day of the SVP Fashion Fair. She was gracious enough to take a keen interest in our products and our journey, and expressed her continued confidence in Bangladesh’s RMG sector. We were truly honoured by her presence and hope to maintain a strong relationship with the High Commission in the years to come.

Yesterday at Hera Sweaters Limited, the Weekly Quality Meeting and Technical Training brought the team together to enhance both technical skills and leadership capacity. The session focused on accurate measurement of all garment points, the qualities that define a strong and effective leader, and practical methods for guiding and training team members with clarity and confidence. Key responsibilities of leadership were reviewed, along with practical approaches to achieving consistent success in day-to-day operations. The company vision, “Taking Quality to the Next Level,” remained central throughout the discussions, emphasizing that quality continues to be the driving force behind ongoing progress. The program also included an open discussion on essential documentation to ensure the highest standards are maintained across all departments. A few moments from the session are shared below.

Fashion SVP London
Day 2 — The fair continued into its second and final day, with HSL proudly taking part in this prestigious London event. Several seminars were held on topics ranging from modern fashion to sustainability in the clothing industry. We are truly grateful to the SVP crew for their continued support throughout the event and hope to be back next year!

Day 1 — Hera Sweaters Limited was honoured to take part in the prestigious SVP Fashion Fair in London on 18 and 19 November 2025. The fair welcomed well-known factories from around the world. HSL proudly displayed samples produced in the past, and visitors were also given a thorough presentation of the factory itself. Guests were particularly impressed by HSL’s continued focus on sustainability, ethics, and quality.

Knitster visit — Third week of November, our CEO, Mr Md Mostaqur Rahman, and Director, Mr Sarwar Ahmed, were in London, UK. The trip kicked off with the HSL contingent visiting the Knitster London office for a catch-up with our long-term friends, Ms Emma McClelland and Ms Charlie Chung. The meeting involved fruitful and stimulating discussions about the future of sustainability in clothing as a whole, with a particular focus on knitwear.
We appreciate Emma and Charlie taking time out of their busy schedules to meet us, and we’re excited to take this relationship forward in the coming months.
