Why do we need MD simulation of a protein?

"Imagine that an alien lands on Earth, hears about something called a “bicycle,” and wants to understand how it works, how to ride it, and how to fix it when it breaks. Figuring this out given just a picture of a bicycle would be challenging. Watching a movie of someone riding a bicycle would help. Even better, the alien would experiment with an actual bicycle—for example, by turning a pedal and seeing how the wheels respond."

OmicSol Hub: Molecular Dynamics (MD) Simulation Services

Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulation is a mandatory and powerful tool for analyzing the stability of protein and protein-ligand complex. However, most of the people in Bangladesh face problems due to the lack of sufficient computational resources. OmicSol Hub is here to assist you by providing MD simulation and post-simulation analysis at low cost. We are providing MD simulation services for both individual protein and protein-ligand complex. Recruitment Circular

OmicSol Hub Bioinformatics Team is going to recruit 2 (two) people as Lead Bioinformatician and Assistant Bioinformatician immediately. People with previous experience of working in those fields offered by OmicSol Hub and students of GEB, SUST will be preferred. Moreover, good knowledge of Unix operating system, Python programming language and R is highly recommended.

The people who are interested to join the Bioinformatics Team, will have to comply with the below terms & conditions. Send your complete CV with recent photograph to this mail address ([email protected]) by 28th February 2024.

Criteria need to be fulfilled:
1. Must maintain confidentiality about the analysis, methodology and any related information
2. Hard working & punctual
3. Comply to obey the rules and regulations of the team
4. Ability & willingness to perform any assigned task of the team
5. No TA/DA will be provided.
6. No accommodation will be provided
7. To join work within a short period of time (7 days) when needed after the final selection.
8. Have to work physically as well as remotely
9. Salary/payment: Lead Bioinformatician will get payment on project wise contractual basis. The Assistant Bioinformatician have to serve a training period of first 6 months without payment. After that he/she will get payment on project wise contractual basis.
10. Will get experience certificate after serving at least 6 months
11. The team reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove of any term & condition.
