FKL Fertilizers & Fertimass, both part of Comgoed, are proud to take another important step towards a smarter and more flexible energy system.

The realization of 38 MWh of battery storage marks a significant project in large-scale energy storage, creating additional flexibility within the energy grid and enabling more efficient use of available capacity.
A powerful project where innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship come together — perfectly aligned with the ambitions we pursue every day. 💪⚡

⚡ Sustainable energy with CHP

We produce our own energy 💡
Using Combined Heat and Power (CHP) units, we reuse heat for drying our pellets and generate electricity for our operations.

The result: lower energy waste and a smaller carbon footprint. Sustainability in action.

This month we are celebrating a special milestone: Luc has been with us for 10 years! 🎉

He first came into contact with our company as a driver, at that time employed by another employer. He later joined us as a planner in our transport department, and over the years his role has continued to grow. Today, Luc is also responsible for purchasing our raw materials and much more! His position has become so extensive that it’s almost impossible to describe in just one title.

Thanks to his dedication and expertise, Luc plays a crucial role within our team and in the day-to-day operations of FKL and Fertimass. 💪
Luc, thank you for 10 years of commitment and involvement, here’s to many more years ahead! 🙌

Yesterday we celebrated 'Lost Monday'. 😄 Have you ever heard of it?

It is a Belgian tradition that we are happy to take part in every year. On this day, we enjoy sausage rolls and apple pastries together. Traditionally, this was a day when craftsmen celebrated and did not work known as “lost work” or a day when poor laborers received free food. 🍎 A tradition with a meaningful story and delicious treats.
