First edition of Funspire in Poland 🎡

Our Co-Founder Anja D'Hondt was invited to speak about creating successful family attractions and the use of IP.

Some key takeaways of the session:

- Positioning and visibility is key. The success of an attraction starts with how well it fits into its themed zone, both visually and narratively.

- IPs can be powerful, especially in dark rides. Well-known, locally relevant IPs can boost appeal, but always weigh the added costs and long-term value.

- Extend the guest experience before, during, and after the attraction. Every touchpoint matters to immerse guests in the story.

- Technology should serve the story. Special effects and interactivity only work when they enhance the experience not when they distract from it.

- Waiting in line can be fun! Queue lines are an opportunity for themed environments, hidden details, and Easter eggs to discover by guests.

Co-Founder Anja D'Hondt is proud to speak next week at FunEdu - The Attractions Leaders Academy during Funspire.pl 2026. FunSpire is an event for professionals who actively shape and develop the attractions and modern leisure industry.

During her session she will talk about creating fun family attractions that guests want to return to, using best practices from parks across Europe. It features how to best deploy IP, theming and storytelling to create an engaging experience.
