🏭Air Liquide announces major investments to support European decarbonization in collaboration with TotalEnergies.
In a major step towards European , Air Liquide announces two large-scale projects to produce renewable and low-carbon in Europe.

The first project, ELYgator, an Air Liquide 200MW electrolyzer, will notably supply ’ industrial platform as well as other Dutch industrial and heavy-duty mobility needs, leveraging already secured renewable electricity from OranjeWind and Hollandse Kust Zuid offshore windfarms.

In addition, Air Liquide and TotalEnergies announce the creation of a joint venture to develop a 250MW electrolyzer to supply the Zeeland refinery site.

Upon completion, these two projects would represent a combined investment of more than 1bn€ and enable the avoidance of up to 500 000 tonnes of CO2-equivalent emissions per year, strengthening Air Liquide's undisputed technological leadership for decarbonizing Europe industry and mobility.

🏭Air Liquide kondigt grote investeringen aan om Europese decarbonisatie te ondersteunen in samenwerking met TotalEnergies.
Als belangrijke stap in het van de Europese , kondigt Air Liquide twee grootschalige aan voor de productie van hernieuwbaar en koolstofarm in Europa.

Het eerste project, ELYgator, een 200MW elektrolyzer van Air Liquide, zal het industriële platform van bevoorraden, evenals andere Nederlandse industriële en zware mobiliteitsbehoeften, door gebruik te maken van de reeds gegarandeerde hernieuwbare elektriciteit van OranjeWind en van het offshore Windpark Hollandse Kust Zuid.

Daarnaast kondigen Air Liquide en TotalEnergies de oprichting aan van een joint venture voor de ontwikkeling van een 250MW elektrolyzer voor de levering aan TotalEnergies Zeeland.

Wanneer deze twee projecten voltooid zijn, zullen ze een gecombineerde investering van meer dan 1 miljard euro vertegenwoordigen en zorgen voor het vermijden van 500.000 ton CO2-equivalente emissies per jaar. Dit betekent een gevoelige versterking van Air Liquide's onbetwiste technologische leiderschap inzake het decarboniseren van de Europese industrie en mobiliteit.

🏭Air Liquide annonce des investissements majeurs pour soutenir la décarbonation de l'Europe en collaboration avec TotalEnergies.
Marquant une avancée significative vers la de l' européenne, Air Liquide annonce deux projets d'électrolyseurs à grande échelle pour produire de l' renouvelable et bas carbone en Europe.

Le premier projet, ELYgator, un électrolyseur Air Liquide de 200 MW, alimentera notamment la plateforme industrielle de ainsi que d'autres besoins néerlandais de l'industrie et de la mobilité lourde, en s'appuyant sur l'électricité renouvelable déjà garantie des parcs éoliens offshore d'OranjeWind et de Hollandse Kust Zuid.

Par ailleurs, Air Liquide et TotalEnergies annoncent la création d'une joint-venture pour le développement d'un électrolyseur de 250 MW destiné à alimenter le site de TotalEnergies en Zélande.

Une fois achevés, ces deux projets représenteraient un investissement combiné de plus d'un milliard d'euros et permettraient d'éviter jusqu'à 500 000 tonnes d'émissions d'équivalent CO2 par an, renforçant ainsi le positionnement de leader technologique dont bénéficie Air Liquide sur la décarbonation de l'industrie et de mobilité en Europe.

👨‍💼 Récemment, Olga Zouboff, Energy Transition Business Developer pour Air Liquide Benelux, a été invitée par VNCI à partager ses idées sur les initiatives de développement durable chez Air Liquide.

Olga est l'une des initiatrices de plusieurs ateliers sur le développement durable au sein d'Air Liquide, tels que les ateliers Climate Fresks et 2 Tonnes.

« Air Liquide offre à ses employés l'opportunité de suivre des ateliers pendant les heures de travail afin d'améliorer leurs connaissances sur le changement climatique et de leur fournir des outils pour réduire leur empreinte carbone. »

Olga is een van de initiatiefnemers van verschillende duurzaamheidsworkshops bij Air Liquide Benelux, zoals de 'Climate Fresks' en de '2 Tonnes' workshops.
