It starts with something simple: the ability to live your everyday life with confidence and dignity.

Through our partnership with pantys, we’re working to make that a reality for more people by improving access to menstrual health and incontinence solutions, supporting education and strengthening communities.

Today, we mark a new step in this journey by expanding our partnership, building on years of collaboration that connect innovation with real-life impact.

From more sustainable materials to programs on the ground, this partnership is about what progress looks like in practice.

What does engineering actually look like in real life?

For Tristan Helmstaedt, it means balancing technical expertise with practical problem solving on industrial sites across Europe. From Germany to Spain, his journey at Solvay has included sustainability projects, operational challenges, and working directly alongside teams on the plant floor.

It’s also far from the stereotype many people imagine. Engineering isn’t only about equations or screens. It’s about understanding how things work in practice and constantly learning from the people around you.

Outside work, Tristan finds balance through sports, learning new skills, and producing electronic music, a reminder that STEM careers are shaped by people, not just processes.

One of many stories we’re sharing as we look ahead to For Generations Week, celebrating the people behind essential chemistry.

What makes people truly feel like they belong at work? 🤝

At Solvay, we believe it comes down to the everyday actions we take for one another. Following a vibrant weekend at Brussels Pride and , we’ve been reflecting on what that looks like in practice.

For some, inclusion means speaking up. For others, it means listening more closely, learning, or making space for someone to feel seen. It is these small, consistent actions that shape our culture over time.

We saw this spirit in action on Saturday, where Solvay colleagues gathered to celebrate the milestone 30th anniversary. Joined by our General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, Lisa Brown, and our Global DEI Partner, Katrien Van Eetvelde, the team came together for the ceremony and showed a visible commitment to making sure no one stands alone. 🏳️‍🌈

Whether we are celebrating together in the community or supporting a teammate in a meeting, inclusion is something we build together, one step at a time. 🌍✨

What happens when chemistry moves from the classroom to an industrial site?

At our Devnya plant in Bulgaria, students experienced exactly that. What they had learned as formulas and equations became something tangible, large-scale, and constantly in motion.

Through site visits and interactive moments, they discovered how industrial processes work in practice, from digitalized systems to the role of materials in everyday products.

Moments like these help close the gap between education and real-world application, making future careers feel more accessible and real.

Because sometimes, seeing how things work is what changes everything.

This is what it looks like when industry becomes real for the next generation.

And it’s one of many ways our teams are connecting with local communities as we approach For Generations Week.

We are pleased to share that today’s Annual General Meeting reaffirmed the strength of Solvay’s direction, with over 90% approval across all resolutions and our annual guidance remaining unchanged.

From the approval of the dividend payment to the re-election of Mr. Pierre Gurdjian as independent Director, these results reflect our solid fundamentals and our commitment to delivering essential, sustainable solutions across the globe. 🌍✨

A heartfelt thank you to our Board, our Shareholders, and especially our dedicated teams for the trust, discipline, and hard work that make this progress possible for generations to come.

Q1 was shaped by our people. Plain and simple.

What made the difference was how our teams showed up every day, applying their expertise, caring about how operations ran, and delivering the Essential Chemistry that many industries depend on.

Across the company, people focused on doing their jobs well, making sure operations ran safely and reliably. They carried that momentum forward, building on work already in motion since early 2024, and continuing to improve how things are done and decisions are made.

Our people also brought the Essential for Generations strategy to life by staying close to customers and responding quickly when needed. Not through big gestures, but through practical decisions made on the ground, day after day.

That same mindset is driving longer term change. By improving efficiency and reducing exposure to volatility, teams are strengthening the foundations of the company over time.

That’s how resilience is built. By people who care about what they do and why it matters.

What happens when students step inside an industrial site for the first time?
At Solvay, students are invited to explore how science is applied in real-world environments. At our Italian sites, these visits go far beyond observation.

From safety and digitalization to sustainability, students discover how industrial operations work in practice and how different teams contribute to making them run.

These moments can have a lasting impact. In one case, a student who had no plans to pursue higher education chose to study engineering after experiencing daily work on site.
Because sometimes, seeing how things work is what changes everything.

This is one example of the impact we’re building across our sites.
As we approach For Generations Week, teams are coming together to support local communities and inspire future generations through STEM.

Connecting with our people, right where the work happens.

Last week, Solvay leaders spent time across North America visiting sites, touring labs, hosting town halls, and meeting face to face with the teams who bring our Essential Chemistry to life every day.

Highlights included celebrating an incredible 35‑year accident‑free milestone at our Longview site, seeing digital and sustainability initiatives in action on the plant floor, and having open conversations with employees about what’s working and where we can keep improving. Leadership also connected beyond our sites, meeting external stakeholders such as the Belgium Ambassador during a visit in Mexico.

What stood out most was the pride, commitment, and collaboration of our teams, and the value of being together in person.

Thank you to everyone who shared their ideas and made these visits so meaningful. This is how we continue building what’s Essential for Generations. 💙
