Building things on a saturday ? Yes !🔧

We headed to Lodges by Tero in Francorchamps for a team building we won't forget. This year's challenge: build a soapbox car in 1.5 hours, across 4 competing teams 🏁

Between picking roles, making last-minute tweaks, and racing against the clock, it felt like a pretty spot-on reflection of how we work every day : clear communication, quick calls, and pushing forward even when the full picture isn't there yet.

The race itself? Competitive enough to matter, fun enough to remember 😄
The evening? Cosy atsmosphere, aperitif, dinner, and... a night that went way longer than planned. The best ones always do.

We're back at our desks with a fresh sense of energy and a few great stories to tell.

A huge thank you to the whole team for bringing such good vibes, and to Tero for making it all happen! 🙌

We were asked to increase production… without adding space.

Not easy. But that’s exactly the kind of challenge we like.

So instead of expanding, we rethought everything inside the existing footprint.

👉 Three operations. One automated cell.
👉 One robot instead of multiple systems.
👉 Smarter flow, not bigger footprint.

We used full 3D simulation to design everything before building anything.

We also replaced outdated hydraulics with a modern servo press system: cleaner, more efficient, and easier to maintain.

And the result?

- +30% productivity
- Full traceability in real time
- Same footprint, better performance

The takeaway is simple:
When you can’t add space, you add intelligence

Say hi to our brand new CLX 450TC 🚀

We could have simply bought a new lathe.
We could have bought a new milling machine.

But we wanted to rethink the way we produce, so we chose a different path.

Together with our machining team, we invested in one single machine capable of turning and milling simultaneously. All-in-one.
Less handling. Less downtime. More efficiency where it matters.

✔️ +50% production capacity
✔️ Machinable parts up to 280 × 800 mm
✔️ 60 available tools instead of 30
✔️ Reduced downtime between operations

Beyond the technical performance, this investment is also about improving day-to-day work in the workshop: less physical strain, smoother workflows, and more focus on high-value machining.

A great step forward for our production team 👏
