Once the fireplace has been welded, the work is far from finished.

At our production facility in Evergem, Belgium, every fireplace moves to our assembly department, where all individual components are carefully fitted, assembled and finished.

Every part has its place. Every connection matters. Every detail is checked.

This is where a collection of precisely manufactured components becomes a complete Metalfire fireplace — assembled entirely in-house by our skilled production team.

Je wordt het eerste aanspreekpunt voor onze dealers en eindklanten. Je behandelt technische vragen, volgt bestellingen op in ons ERP-systeem en verwerkt garantie- en after-sales dossiers. Een functie met afwisseling, verantwoordelijkheid en veel klantcontact.

Recent verwelkomden we de leerlingen van klas 5A Lassen-Constructie van Don Bosco Sint-Denijs-Westrem voor een dag werkplekleren in ons atelier in Evergem.

Van CNC-lasersnijden en plooibanken tot laswerk en poedercoating: elke leerling werkte actief mee op de werkvloer en raakte vertrouwd met de technieken die wij dagelijks inzetten om onze haarden te vervaardigen.

Werkplekleren werkt in twee richtingen. De leerlingen doen praktijkervaring op in een professionele productieomgeving. Wij ontmoeten de vakmensen van morgen.

Elke haard die Metalfire verlaat is volledig in eigen atelier vervaardigd, van eerste snede tot afwerking. Dat niveau van controle vraagt mensen die hun vak werkelijk beheersen.

SPH House, Sint-Martens-Latem

Decancq Vercruysse Architects approached this rare 1960s bungalow in the woods of Sint-Martens-Latem not as a property to erase, but as a piece of Belgian domestic modernism worth leaning into. The renovation became a reverse case study, drawing on the period’s own vocabulary and on references like Alvar Aalto’s Maison Louis Carré from 1963. Open plan, generous windows, natural wood, restrained geometry.

Among the modernist classics inside the house sits our Avenue closed gas fireplace. CE certified, EN 613 compliant, high efficiency closed combustion. A wide flame picture and quiet operation, integrated into the architecture rather than added to it.
