Generiek is a Ghent(BE) and Shanghai(CN)-based architectural office founded by Lorenz Adriaens, Lando De Keyzer and Richard Leung.

Model photos of our project Farm Villa, a throwback to 2017 when this project was designed. Located in Maldegem, BE, the proposal featured the extension of two new bedroom wings to the side of an existing gabled roof building. With an addition of a paved surface, this binds the separate buildings on the site into a coherent collection of forms.

In close collaboration with .studio , Generiek has been working on a masterplan for a winery and vineyard in the Carmel region in California. The masterplan design proposes a new circular pathway that connects different zones of the site together. New landscaped areas for events are also incorporated in the proposal. The design also includes the renovation of a series of existing buildings on site, including the restaurant and event cellar and also an inn in the middle of the

After various consultations with advisory bodies and the group of committed locals, we have finished the design and building application file for the reconversion of the Saint-Amanduschurch.

We hope to receive the building permit by the end of the year and start to refine the design towards a detailed tender file.

Throwback to our project Along Water, a proposal for a pool and facility building in Georgia, US. This proposal was part of a larger masterplan that compromised of multiple other buildings. Done in collaboration with .studio

Throwback Thursday to our project Retail Landscape. This project is located in Dendemonde, Belgium and is a renovation, extension and upgrade of an existing shopping complex. A more pedestrian-friendly circulation is introduced with also the design of a central atrium, so that the shopping complex can act as a social hub for the surrounding neighborhoods, akin to a new town square.
