Use our FLEX LED to indicate when fuel stations are in use.

FLEX LED stands for flexible LED signalling. This LED signalling is robust, ideal for outdoor use and now also available with M12 connectivity.

A case study we’ve done is the application of the FLEX LED at fuel stations within the work area, for example.

Once installed, the FLEX LED can be used to indicate whether a petrol station is in use or not by changing colour. For example, green when a space is available and red when it is occupied. This makes it clear at a glance to drivers whether they can refuel here or not.

Recently many of the LED2WORK GmbH products have received a serious technological upgrade to make these more robust and more durable.

As an example, the TUBELED 40 II series have now an estimated lifetime of 100 000 h. Does that mean that they turn off after this timespan? Obviously not! If you look at the datasheet, you will see that it says: “100 000h (L80/B10)”. That means that the LED lamp is expected to last over 100,000 hours, where after this time, at least 90% of the LEDs will still produce 80% or more of their initial light output (L80), with only 10% failing to meet this benchmark (B10).

So, for most general lighting applications, the life expectancy would extend beyond the stated 100 000h. Only applications where the lighting is critical (for example vision cameras or certain inspection applications) the luminaire might need replacing.
