🔥 From students to Firemakers in just one day!

For YOUCA vzw Action Day, Nuria, Gust and Elise joined us for a day at our settlement in Harelbeke. They got to follow along with our Facility team, the Communication team and VYNCKE - A Family of Companies.

Every year, YOUCA Action Day gives more than 15,000 students across Flanders and Brussels the chance to experience a day in the workplace. The money they earn goes toward youth-led projects around the world. 🌍

And since they were spending the day at Vyncke, we couldn't let them leave without making them official Firemakers. 🔥 Of course, they got to light their first fires under the watchful eyes of our experienced Vynckeneers, always with safety first!

Thanks for joining us, Nuria, Gust and Elise! We hope you enjoyed your day, learned something new, and maybe even sparked an interest in a future career!

🔥 to 2021, when we fired up a sweet energy solution in Koog aan de Zaan, the Netherlands! 🍫

For one of the world's largest suppliers of cocoa beans, we delivered a turnkey cocoa shell-fired steam boiler. This installation transforms the company's own cocoa processing side streams into valuable energy, generating steam to power its production processes. ♻️

Some :
🟦 Capacity: 7 MW
🟥 Fuel: Cocoa shells 🍫
⬛ Output: 9 TPH steam

From cocoa shells to steam, this project proves that even the leftovers of chocolate's key ingredient can spark something powerful! 🔥

🏃‍♂️ 36 Vynckeneers, 21 kilometers, and a whole lot of team spirit!

Last Sunday, 36 Vynckeneers laced up their running shoes for the Half Marathon of Bruges! 👟💪

We kicked things off together at the starting line, ready to hit the streets of Bruges and give it our all. Different paces, same team spirit!

And the fun didn't stop at the finish line! After the race, we gathered at a fellow Vynckeneer's home nearby to celebrate with a well-deserved party.

Who says we only bring the heat at work? 🔥

From the classroom to real world technology. 👀

Recently, students from a technical secondary school visited our Frýdek-Místek site in the Czech Republic to get a behind the scenes look at our production facilities and the projects that help deliver clean energy around the world. 🌍

It was great to see their curiosity, thoughtful questions, and active participation throughout the visit. ⚙️

We believe that experiences like these help bridge the gap between classroom learning and real world practice, and perhaps even spark an interest in a future career path. 🔥

☕ There is much more to coffee than a caffeine boost.

To celebrate International Coffee Day, our Vynckeneers in the Czech Republic got a closer look at the world of coffee, learning about its origins, processing and roasting while exploring a range of flavours through a guided tasting experience.

As a company that has experience working with customers in the coffee industry, it was fascinating to explore a different side of the journey behind every cup.

A great afternoon of new discoveries, good conversations, and moments that sparked curiosity along the way. 🔥

🍎🍐 Freshly picked and happily shared.

The fruit trees at our Frýdek-Místek site in the Czech Republic brought another wonderful harvest this year, and we were happy to share it with our Vynckeneers.
