Adventure Weekend reached new heights this year, literally. ⛰️

From June 3 to 7, our Vynckeneers headed to the Stelvio region for a weekend packed with cycling, hiking, rafting, motorbike rides, quiz night, theme night, and plenty of mountain-made memories. 🚲🥾🏍️🚣‍♂️

With Hotel Miravalle as basecamp, between Bormio and Livigno, the team took on breathtaking routes, iconic climbs like Stelvio, Gavia, and Mortirolo, and the most important challenge of all: having fun together. 🤝

Because whether we’re building clean energy plants or climbing mountain passes, Vynckeneers know how to keep the fire of teamwork going.

Our Vynckeneers in Thailand served up something new last Monday: their very first pickleball game! 🏓

Yesterday, Vyncke joined several major Belgian companies for an exclusive closed-door dialogue with H.E. Dr. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya. 🇰🇪🤝

Our own Dirk Vyncke, Pater Familias of VYNCKE - A Family of Companies, was pleased to hear renewable energy and clean energy technologies highlighted as key priorities for Kenya’s future development.

With a young and growing population of more than 55 million people, Kenya is taking important steps to tackle waste challenges and build a more sustainable future.

A couple of weeks ago, we had the honor of meeting with the representatives of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brussels for an open and constructive discussion. 🤝

Together, our Vynckeneer Alexey Tuganov, Counsellor Murat Rustemov, and Minister-Counsellor Murager Sauranbay explored how Vyncke can support the further development of biomass and waste-to-energy solutions as part of Kazakhstan’s renewable energy future.

Edible oil processing and waste-to-energy were highlighted as fast-growing sectors where Vyncke’s proven technology can help turn industrial challenges into clean energy opportunities. That is what we call firing up sustainable progress! 🔥

The dialogue went beyond traditional trade relations between Belgium and Kazakhstan. We discussed technology transfer, co-investment, co-development, modern waste management, and resource recovery, all with one shared goal in mind: creating long-term value for Kazakhstan’s industry and communities. ♻️⚡

🌿 A themed afternoon full of adventure

For a moment, we swapped our work pace for a bit of adventure and it was absolutely worth it.

We prepared an afternoon full of games, laughter and shared moments for our colleagues, their families and all the little adventurers. The kids took part in the “Chief’s Trail”, where they showed courage, skills and team spirit.

The creative corner invited both kids and adults to make their own dreamcatchers or headbands. A relaxed atmosphere and the smell of sausages grilling over the fire added to the experience. 🔥

It was a lovely afternoon that reminded us how important it is to slow down and enjoy time together.
