Over 60,000 container locations in Debrecen

Mixvill is bringing its warehouse logistics together at a single site in Debrecen and automating the new build with Jungheinrich. The Hungarian distributor of electrical and construction-related products will supply both trade and end customers from there.

At the heart of the site is an automated miniload warehouse with more than 60,000 container locations. It spans four aisles across roughly 1,500 square metres and stands 14.5 metres high. One stacker crane per aisle handles storage and retrieval. The container conveyor system links goods-in, goods-out and a dedicated workstation for B2C orders, while the Jungheinrich Warehouse Management System manages stock and orders. In the manual area, narrow-aisle trucks (EKX 516) and reach trucks (ETV 316i and ETV Q25) handle loads of up to eight metres in length with precision, while pallet trucks (ERE 120i) connect the areas.

✈️ Jungheinrich premiere at Deutsche Aircraft

We have implemented a highly automated logistics centre for Deutsche Aircraft’s new “Factory 4.0” at Leipzig/Halle Airport. For the first time, a Jungheinrich PowerCube and an automated very narrow aisle warehouse are working together under a single control system. The solution offers more than 6,500 container storage spaces on an area of just around 210 m² and supports the supply of materials for the ramp-up of production of the D328eco regional aircraft.
