: Within the E-Mobility revolution the development of controllable 3-phase electric motors to provide tractive or propulsive effort has been one of the biggest technological shifts.
The biggest advancement in terms of performance has come from the development of permanent magnet motors.
Of course the other technologies which do not use permanent magnets are also credible and have their place. But for most electric vehicles it will be very difficult to achieve all the performance metrics and goals without this amazing material.
The permanent magnet is key and we believe it will be an attractive force for the continued growth of EVโs.
But achieving the target performance with the least amount of permanent magnet as possible will be essential for the long-term sustainable.
Traxialโs yokeless axial flux motor has a big advantage in this area.
