🚪✨ Throwback to 7 years of coordinating projects and installing doors with Manicor . It’s been a journey filled with so many different door projects , each with its own unique challenges and solutions 🙌. From ensuring **safety** and installing solid entry doors 🔐, to focusing on **fire safety** 🚒, and even creating **crash-resistant doors** for sports centers 🏋️‍♂️! We also installed **electrical locks** for access control in elderly homes 👴👵, and of course, brought style to modern apartments with **Italian doors** 🇮🇹 and a divers folder of finished painted doors 🎨.

Over the years, I’ve learned that every project comes with different demands – but they all taught me how to adapt, communicate better with clients, and work seamlessly with construction teams 👷‍♂️💼. Whether it was a simple installation or a complex safety requirement, we did it all 💪. So grateful for the versatility and experience these years have given me!

“💼👗 finished a fantastic project back in 2020 for a self employed man and his wife! I built them a new closet that’s both stylish and super practical 🤩. This closet is mostly used for storing extra winter clothes and also holds folders and important documents 📂. The best part? All the rows at the bottom are sliding cupboards , making it super easy for the residents to access their things without needing to get on their knees 🙌. Simply slide them out, grab what you need, and slide them back in – perfect for convenience as they grow older!

They also asked me for a quote to finish the ceiling, which was still bare concrete at the time. I provided a few models and colors to choose from, and they loved the options 🎨. So before installing the closet, I completed the ceiling too! It was all one smooth process from start to finish 😎. Super happy with how the closet and ceiling turned out, and I’m always down for more projects like this! 💪✨

✨ Block Frame Doors🚪! These beauties are designed with a massive oak look🌳, featuring 400mm wide boards and a solid 38 mm thickness, plus rubber for soundproofing 🔇. What’s unique about these doors is that the frame is already sanded and finished before installation – no extra side square nailed in! 🛠️ This means the drywall or plastering works *against* the door, but you’ve got to leave at least 3 mm of space for the wood to breathe 🌬️, allowing silicone to bridge the gap between the wall and door for a perfect fit!

I’m so happy with the end result 😊, especially with those graceful medium hinges ,they really complement the whole look . And let’s not forget, the door handles, these makes a huge impact on the overall vibe. Handles carry so much character, shaping the final style of the door!

Excited to share this 2022 - 2023 project where we in a team crafted a custom MDF design to bridge the gaps between the window insulation and ceiling, all while being mindful of the fire repellent board to ensure safety and prevent any fire hazards 🔥🛠️. These designs are essential for the architect to sign off on, allowing us to move forward with a big order for an entire apartment block – 12 floors, multiple apartments on each floor 🏢. So a lot of kilometres were being fabricated of this type.

Working closely with “Manicor” and “Artes Roegiers” near Antwerp, we focused on creating a solution that’s both efficient and commercially beneficial. Happy to contribute to a project where attention to detail and safety is key.

Thrilled to share another project where I stayed true to my signature closet designs!

This time, working with Scandinavian-inspired Polishgrain, that beautiful white needlewood 🌲. I love paying close attention to the wood’s veins and grain to give every door a natural flow, and each door is carefully numbered. There’s such a playful vibe in this space, with the blend of natural wood, white tones, and the great light that comes through the windows ☀️. The character details from the colored glass and lamps really add a special touch.

The assignment? Creating fun, practical space for a desk area 💻 (see the first two pics) and extending that same style into the bedroom 🛏️, giving both partners plenty of storage for clothes, pants, sweaters, and shared cupboards with soft-close, minimalist wooden door handles. Loved how it turned out!

As always, I drafted the designs and worked closely with the client, offering three custom options to make it personal to their home. Loved every step of this project – excited for more like this! 🔨✨

creating a **Letterbox Closet** that seamlessly stows away electric appliances, gas meters, and water meters in one clean, straight wall closet. Collaborating with the architect on this was a great experience; I took his initial concept and made it my own by calculating and adjusting the measurements to ensure everything fit perfectly. It was my first time building letterboxes, but applying logic helped things go smoothly. For future designs, I’d definitely include more stability to keep the doors straight, especially since it’s an outdoor public spot for all residents. I’m happy with the result and always keeping a mindful eye on ways to improve . project with Manicor! 🔧🏠

🏡🔨 finished building two high-end garden storage units, complete with insulation, electricity, an EPDM roof, and a modern oak outer shell! 🌳⚡ Big shoutout to , the mastermind behind this project. It was an absolute pleasure working together as a team, creating in a smooth flow state from start to finish! 🙌 Lorin’s structural knowledge and calculations paired perfectly with my door installation expertise 🚪, and it all came together beautifully. Hope we get the chance to collaborate again someday! 😄

🚪🔧 Did you know I’ve got over 14 years of experience, including 7+ years specializing in door installation and working alongside all kinds of contractors? 👷‍♂️ The modern approach today is sleek and seamless—think plastering in aluminum door frames or using MDF side squares for a flush finish with the door frame 🛠️. Precision is key, where every millimeter counts! 📏 I make sure each hinge is perfectly spaced and the side squares are expertly routered to fit. Fortunately, the rest of the building was fitted with standard white lacquer doors, which I know inside and out! 🎨🚪

🔧✨ Wrapped up an awesome multiverse project! 🚪🍽️ Installed a sleek, small kitchen—simple yet practical 💡. Added crown molding to 3 rooms for that classic ceiling finish 👑, and covered all sorts of areas with drywall and custom MDF panels for a neat finish.

Created sliding doors for a storage space under an angled roof, and even added a collapsible ladder for easy access to the attic! 🪜🏠
I Loved bringing it all together!

🔨🏠 Just completed a smooth roof gutter renovation! We chose TRESPA in Anthracite 🌑 to seamlessly match the neighboring finish 👌. From design to installation, it all flowed perfectly! Rented scaffolding to work safely and even cleaned out the gutters 🍂🧹 (they were packed with leaves!). With solid prep, this turned into a super efficient 2-day job 🛠️💪.

🎶✨ Just wrapped up designing a super creative workspace/music studio! 🎧📚
Making the most of the closet space under an angled roof with some clever design 🛠️. Together with the client, Maarten, we put up ultra-strong shelves 🪜held by invisible steel anchors 🔩 and chemical-fast cement 💪 perfect for all his vinyl records and books! 🎶📀

The best part? I got the freedom to carve a tree-shaped barkline 🌳 into the desk area for that extra flair, and we used the leftover counter mold to create a matching shelf & monitor stand! 🖥️

🎶 Extended the plugs for maximum comfort 🔌
