At our booth, Pickit showcased our latest Pickit 4.1 platform with a Zivid camera, capturing 3D point clouds and refining them through our new AI-powered segmentation technology.

For companies such as Toyota and its supply base, deploying additional Pickit 3D vision systems provides plants with the easiest vision system to use, maintain, and scale, helping to reduce total cost of ownership throughout the production lifecycle.

Moreover, our AI filters can do more than handle mixed SKUs, but also exclude unwanted elements such as damaged metal bins, racks or bags, so the system focuses on the parts to be picked or de-racked. This improves pick accuracy in variable real-world conditions.

From manual loading to a fully automated cycle in automotive drivetrain production. ⚙️⏱️

🎓 We were delighted to welcome a team of students from the Department of Intelligent Software Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea to Pickit’s headquarters in Belgium.

With a strong interest in robotics, AI and 3D vision, the students visited Pickit to explore how 3D robot vision is applied in real-world robotic automation. Our discussions also covered Pickit’s business strategy and the future of AI-powered 3D robot vision.

The students selected Belgium as their destination because of its thriving deep-tech ecosystem and strong connections between industry, academia and research.
