24 hours later, we’re bringing home silver!🥈

After an eventful 24 hours, we’re proud to say the BluePoint Atlas finished in second position with 310 laps. Even the rain we faced this morning was no obstacle for her. With limited stops, including just one charging stop, she kept a steady, confident pace.

We’re incredibly proud of how the team performed this weekend.
Of course, we also faced a setback with the Infinite, but we’re grateful for the lessons learned, we’ll take them with us to Australia.

An update from us:
at 4:00 AM, one of our pilots hit a wet spot on track, causing the Infinite to slip and hit her side. Our pilot is okay and was still able to bring the car safely back to our pitbox, where the team immediately assessed the extent of the damage and ran mechanical checks.
Given the time remaining, we made the call that we wouldn’t be able to repair the car to meet our safety standards and get back on track.
This means the Infinite will not continue the race.

Our second car, the BluePoint Atlas (88) is still competing for P2 and the team remains focused on the challenge.

We’re proud of how the team responded under pressure, and grateful for everyone’s support.

11 hours in, 13 to go.

A few technical problems have left the Infinite a couple of laps behind, but both of our solar cars are still battling for a spot on the podium. 🏎️☀️

Currently P2 & P5.

The night is long and the race is far from over.
