As an Internal Sales Officer, you are an important link between our customers and our internal teams. You are responsible for processing and following up on price requests and orders, and act as a key point of contact for our Sales & Account Managers and customers.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Handle price requests and translate them into accurate quotations.
• Follow up on incoming customer orders.
• Act as the first point of contact for our Sales & Account Managers.
• Provide technical and commercial support to our Sales & Account Managers and communicate directly with customers regarding products, services, delivery changes and other enquiries.
• Independently manage the administrative processing and follow-up of quotations and orders, actively monitoring their progress.
• Maintain accurate customer data in our internal systems.
• Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Planning and Accounting.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.
• Technical and commercial affinity.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with an eye for detail.
• A strong communicator, customer-oriented and a natural problem solver.
• Able to work independently with a proactive attitude.
• Able to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and other MS Office tools.
• Good command of Dutch and English. Knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲

As a Cost Calculator, you are responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost price calculations for our industrial vehicles and trailers.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Commercial, Purchasing and Production to translate customer requests into accurate budget estimates.

Following production, you will carry out post-calculations to analyse actual costs and margins, investigate deviations and contribute to improving future cost price calculations.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Analyse customer requests, technical specifications and quotations to prepare budget estimates for the production of our industrial vehicles.
• Prepare cost price calculations and price analyses in Excel and our internal software system.
• Take materials, components, working hours and other requirements into account to develop accurate budget estimates.
• Work closely with Engineering to correctly interpret technical designs and product and material information.
• Liaise with Purchasing to obtain supplier pricing to support your calculations.
• Perform post-production calculations, compare actual costs with pre-estimates, identify deviations and propose improvements for future calculations.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a technical equivalent. Candidates with a financial or analytical background and a strong affinity for technology and production are also welcome to apply.
• Experience in a similar role is a plus, but not a must. Both junior and senior profiles are welcome.
• A strong interest in numbers, technical production environments and transportation.
• Detail-oriented with an accurate way of working.
• Strong numerical insight and analytical thinking.
• A cost-focused mindset.
• Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable working with other MS Office software.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

This is what was under the cover at IAA Transportation 2026:
Pull Load — Van Hool Industrial Vehicles’ new horizontal unloading system.

At the front of the trailer, the Pullbox drives a continuous cable loop that moves the shield from front to rear, pulling the load horizontally out for an even discharge.

No lubrication points. No routine servicing during normal operation. Less downtime, lower maintenance costs and a lower total cost of ownership.

Pull Load has been designed to make bulk-material discharge faster, safer and more efficient.
