Belgian table manufacturers and wood specialists Heerenhuis are exhibiting at MAISON&OBJET Paris — Hall 5A, M50, from 15 –19 January 2026.

Their designs feature LDCwood® ThermoWood ayous and fraké, which are chosen for their lightweight feel, warm aesthetics, durability and stability.

Made from solid ThermoWood® and finished with oil, the tables are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

❄️ Is ThermoWood® resistant to cold weather?

ThermoWood® is highly resistant to cold weather conditions. The thermal treatment process used to create ThermoWood® involves heating the wood to high temperatures, which removes moisture and makes the wood more stable and durable. This makes ThermoWood® an excellent choice for outdoor applications, such as decking and cladding, where it is exposed to cold temperatures. The wood's resistance to moisture, mold and pests also contributes to its durability in cold weather.

🌳 Lokaal hout, lokaal verduurzaamd door LDCwood

Op 22 oktober ontdek je tijdens de Publieksdag 'Hout Uit Het Woud' hoe lokaal hout een tweede leven krijgt in duurzame toepassingen.

Bij LDCwood mochten we bijdragen door lokaal loofhout uit Heverleebos en Meerdaalwoud, waaronder Amerikaanse Eik, beuk en esdoorn, thermisch te modificeren in onze ovens in Oostende. Dankzij deze innovatieve, milieuvriendelijke techniek wordt het hout weerbestendig en geschikt voor binnen- én buitentoepassingen, zoals het nieuwe vlonderpad aan onthaalpoort Natuurpunt De Torenvalk vzw.

Dit project toont hoe circulaire economie de ecologische voetafdruk verkleint én de lokale economie versterkt.
