Our own design and development department is constantly on the lookout for new techniques, new fabrics and materials and fresh new designs. ▪️ Theaterhaus Stuttgart - Germany▪️

The Stuttgart Theaterhaus has a rich history of fostering the performing arts in the region. Originally established in the late 20th century, it has been a cornerstone of Stuttgart's cultural scene, hosting a wide array of performances ranging from classical theatre to contemporary dance. Over the years, the Theaterhaus has undergone several renovations and expansions to meet the growing demands of its audience and to incorporate modern technological advancements. The latest redevelopment project, completed in 2024, marks a new chapter in its storied legacy, enhancing its capacity and versatility while preserving its commitment to artistic excellence. The project, commissioned by the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart and designed in collaboration with Raum + Szene, showcases innovative design and engineering.

The Theaterhaus features a transportable retractable seating system, which includes nine double platform seats and fixed seats, allowing for flexible configurations to accommodate various types of events. With a total seating capacity of 1156, the venue includes 540 telescopic seats, 27 removable seats, 329 fixed balcony seats, and 260 loose seats, ensuring comfort and accessibility for all attendees.

▪️ The International School - Monaco▪️

Developed by the Marzocco Group and Vinci Immobilier, Testimonio II is a comprehensive project that is synonymous with significant lasting benefits for the Monegasque population – current and new residents, neighbouring businesses, not to mention the children who will shape the future of the Principality.

Located on the last major building plot in Monaco, the project is a significant milestone in terms of sustainable development in Monaco. Innovative and environmental friendly solutions have been introduced throughout the entire project lifecycle – from development to realization. The site consists of luxurious housing, a school, a nursery, a new promenade, and a large public car park.

Testimonio II houses the International School of Monaco – a growing and highly competitive primary and secondary school with students coming from all over the world.. The school accommodates 700 students and has a large atrium, as well as a state-of-the-art gymnasium and auditorium.

In the Auditorium Jezet installed a retractable seating system with 127 luxurious Livio seats supplemented by 52 seats on wheels of the same typ.

▪️ De Parade 's Hertogenbosch - The Netherlands▪️

'De Parade' is a household name in the city of Den Bosch. Recently, the existing theatre made way for a state-of-the-art new building that meets the new requirements and gadgets in the theatre scene.

Noahh Architects has designed the new “Theater aan de Parade” a a social activator and extravert multifunctional building. Cutting-edge is its approach to implementation social space and spatial energy. The new cultural hub offers a wide rage of performances musical genres and cultural events.

The Parade Hall is a modern multifunctional space finished in warm dark and gold coulours. It’s equipped with a telescopic movable grandstand on the ground floor, the upper platform of which can be hoisted up with hoists. In addition, the grandstand is equipped with a parabolic step for optimal sightlines. The chairs are semi-automatic with the Jezet MAS system. There is also a small telescopic stand on the balcony. The entire hall with grandstand and balconies can accommodate 498 spectators. The hall is equipped with 909 new custom made theatre seats arranged in curved rows. The high level of finish of the chairs ensures a comfortable modern chair with a classic elegance.

▪️ Pôle Créatif Bavière Liège - Belgium▪️

This new construction carried by the Province of Liège runs along the Meuse and is dedicated, in a very broad sense, to creativity and in particular to digital.

The Pôle des Savoirs includes a resource centre, spaces for conviviality, relaxation, reading, work as well as a multipurpose room where shows and various events, literary meetings, conferences...

The multipurpose room was equipped by Jezet with a telecopic grandstand and fixed seats for about 160 people.

▪️ Lofoten Kulturhus Svolvaer - Norway▪️

The Svolvaer – Lofoten kulturhus - Svolvær project stands as a testament to innovative seating solutions for multifunctional venues. Comprising a combination of theatre, conference, congress, education, and dance spaces, this facility has been transformed with a remarkable curved retractable seating system.

This advanced system not only facilitates optimal space utilization but also enhances the versatility of the venue. The centerpiece of this seating design is a removable middle element, thoughtfully integrated through a lateral transport system. This ingenious addition enables swift configuration changes, accommodating various event requirements seamlessly and this all with our seat the Monza.

▪️ Sint-Jacobskerk Leuven - Belgium▪️

The redevelopment of the Jacobskerk in Leuven, Belgium, represents a significant cultural and architectural revitalization project aimed at preserving the city's rich heritage while adapting to contemporary needs.

The recent redevelopment project, initiated by the city of Leuven in partnership with heritage organizations and architectural experts like Archifix, reimagined the role of Jacobs Kerk in modern urban life. Rather than solely functioning as a place of worship, the church has been repurposed as a multi-functional space open to cultural events, exhibitions, community gatherings, and educational activities. This adaptive reuse model is part of a broader movement across Europe to revitalize religious heritage buildings that are no longer used regularly for religious services.

To comply with this new multifunctional purpose Jezet installed a retractable seating system with Phoenix comfort seats in 2024. The system is completely free standing in the space and therefore provided with a hard rear and side-covering to create a rectangular box-like system within the space.

▪️ International School Eindhoven - The Netherlands▪️

The school is located within the Constant Rebecque Kazerne, an old army barracks, and surrounded by a green area of the city. The buildings are a Dutch historical monument.

Over the years the school has grown to be a fully-fledged international school with students representing over 50 nationalities, spread over three departments, a Dutch Bilingual Primary Department, an International Primary Department and a Secondary Department.

At this wonderful site Jezet was attributed with installing a retractable seating system. The client opted for a simple but esthetic seat model of the Phoenix comfort type. The seats fold in and out completely automatically giving the users the possibility to retract and open the system in a very limited timespan.

▪️ Ukuaru Muusikamaja Rakvere - Estonia▪️

The city of Rakvere has a new multifunctional music house dedicated to Arvo Pärt . I offers both residents and visitors diverse opportunities to enjoy culture and music. The new music house has become a matter of the heart for many both in Estonia and abroad.

The world-famous composer Arvo Pärt spent his childhood and youth in Rakvere, and it was here that his music studies began. The year 2020 was the jubilee year of Arvo Pärt, an honorary citizen of the city of Rakvere. The maestro turned 85 on 11 September.

In 1935, the architect of symbols, Alar Kotli, designed a building for St. Paul's Congregation as the Church of Estonian Freedom, which the city of Rakvere reconstructed and partially renovated in honour of the maestro Arvo Pärt.

The new seats for the concert hall had to perform well acoustically and have a silent tip up. The ideal model was found in our Lucca seat with soft-tip up and a modern look to suit the new identity of the building. Another challenge was that the removable version of seats had to be placed partially on a sloping floor and stored into a tight space when not in use. Jezet adapted the seats to all these requirements.

▪️ Bozar Brussels - Belgium▪️

Bozar is a welcoming and dynamic arts house with a beating heart in Brussels. It provides a platform for artists from Belgium and the wider world. Victor Horta’s art deco building is akin to a living body, in which we encourage the free circulation of visual arts, music, film, performances and ideas. Bozar aims to be a vibrant space for the living arts.

Sitting atop Coudenberg Hill, monumental and yet discreet, the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts is Belgium’s major cultural venue. In 1913, Queen Elisabeth and King Albert I expressed their desire to build “a temple devoted to Music and the Arts”. Designed by renowned Belgian architect Victor Horta (1861-1947), construction began after the First World War. Upon returning from his stay in the United States, Horta abandoned his flamboyant, industrial Art Nouveau style for the more monumental and geometric language of Art Deco. Inaugurated in 1928, the Centre for Fine Arts is a testimony to this aesthetic revolution. For nearly a century, the centre has hosted the art world’s crème de la crème, and it is where most of Bozar’s cultural and artistic activities are held.

Jezet had the honour to deliver and install new seats for the renovation of the Studio and Space M. The client opted for our classic and robust seat model type Arcade to fit the character of both spaces.

▪️ Het Gasthuis Aarschot - Belgium▪️

The hospital site was transformed into a cultural site in 2005. The cultural centre Het Gasthuis. includes a modern theatre hall, exhibition rooms, meeting rooms, cafeteria, etc. In 2024 Jezet renovated the 398 existing seats, formerly also delivered by Jezet. The renovation included restoring the woodwork and renewal of the upholstery.
