After a severe damage on the geartrain of one of 4 generator engines on a passenger vessel, it became clear that a complete overhaul had to be done. This because of the fact that the engine block had to be turned on-site to be able to replace the damaged push rods and camshaft and also looking at the running hours that were performed already. This MWM type 234 V12 engine was minimally skimmed on the engine block top end to make all the surfaces as good as new. All wear parts were replaced with high quality genuine/OEM spares and some other defaults were detected by our specialists along the way. All this guarantees a long extension of the lifespan of this 'older' engine. Way more economical then replacing it with a new one! Satisfied customer once again, well done team! 🤝💪
