During a tour of our production hall in Sankt Vith, Manuel Dupuis and Michael Hilgers shared exciting insights about our very first project in Mexico.

For Nave Aventa, we designed and planned a production hall with great passion. We are proud to bring our timber construction expertise there as well! 💪

At the same time, we never lose sight of our roots in East Belgium; we are proud of them and proud to keep producing right here.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.

In 2008, Olivier Dupuis founded LIGNA systems.

The reason?
His father, a successful timber trader, needed a new hall. But no one was able to build it with a timber structure.

So Olivier made a bold decision:
He calculated it himself. Cut the timber. Built the hall.
For his father, and for an idea that would grow into LIGNA systems.

Today, we are a team of 75 employees and have realized over 500 projects worldwide.

And it all started with one hall, one need, and one decision.

Ligna Systems is starting a new chapter! 🚀
With the construction of two new halls in St. Vith, we are expanding our production and storage capacities. This will enable us to deliver large-scale projects even more efficiently and handle international shipments directly from our site in the future.

We are especially grateful to our neighbors for their open and constructive cooperation. Through joint dialogue, we have found solutions to preserve the landscape. 🌱

What once existed only on paper now stands tall in Wachtendonk.
A modern hall with an impressive timber structure, delivered on time and to full scope.

🇦🇹 𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢̈𝗸𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴 | 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮 – 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

On July 25, 2025, KAPO Fenster und Türen GmbH home celebrated the topping-out of their new production site in the Ökopark Hartberg –
and we at LIGNA systems are proud to contribute to this forward-looking project.

→ What’s being built here is more than just a new facility.
It’s a 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲-𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

The building was realized entirely in wood – using traditional truss construction.
We were entrusted with the engineering and production of the timber structure – optimized for efficiency, material savings and flexibility.

As 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗿 put it during the ceremony:
“The truss design stands as a symbol for conscious resource use. This project shows how traditional building methods and modern production requirements can be harmoniously combined.”
