Last week, roadworks damaged a gaspipe that connected +-400 people to the grid. However, one of our GPI installations was still connected after the damaged pipe. The GPI was able to provide sustainably produced gas to power these households. A perfect example of the benefits of on-farm energy production.

Pier Jan Zijsling commented: "Ofcourse we hope that these situations will not happen often. But we are happy that our farm and installation were able to provide gas to our neighborhood. This proves that the GPI was not only a worthy investment for us, but also for the community."

Mooie feedback van de familie Zijsling uit Tjerkwerd, bij wie we gisteren gedeputeerde Abel Kooistra van de provincie Fryslân en een 25-tal Referm-partners mochten ontvangen voor een rondleiding op één van Biolectric’s eerste groen gas installaties.

Sinds september vorig jaar bouwden we in Nederland al 7 groen gas installaties op boerderijschaal.

Great feedback from the Zijsling family in Tjerkwerd, where yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming provincial executive Abel Kooistra from the province of Fryslân, along with around 25 Referm partners, for a tour of one of Biolectric’s first green gas installations.

Since September last year, we have already built 7 farm-scale green gas installations in the Netherlands.
