Yesterday, following the visit of the Chinese Ambassador earlier this year, we were honored to welcome Mr. Bill White, Ambassador of the United States to Belgium, together with Mr. Jonathan Holslag, Mayor of Stad Tienen. Our CEO, Marc Quirijnen, welcomed the delegation and presented the Ambassador with a selection of our finest chocolates.
The Ambassador was visibly impressed by the of our operations and the of our chocolate. Every year, we produce nearly 14,000 tons of chocolate, using 100% cocoa, and export to more than 67 countries worldwide. Since 1996, the United States has been one of those markets, and 30 years later, we remain proud to be one of the largest exporters of premium Belgian chocolate to the US.
The verdict on our minis? "If you haven't tried the corn flakes chocolate, you haven't lived."

Gisteren mochten we Mr. Bill White, ambassadeur van de Verenigde Staten in België, en Mr. Jonathan Holslag, burgemeester van Stad Tienen, verwelkomen.
De ambassadeur was onder de indruk van onze schaal en kwaliteit: elk jaar produceren we bijna 14.000 ton chocolade en exporteren we naar meer dan 67 landen wereldwijd. Al sinds 1996 is ook de Verenigde Staten één van die markten. Dat betekent al 30 (!) jaar gelukkige klanten overal in Amerika.
En onze Cachet minis? "Wie de cornflakes-chocolade nog niet proefde, heeft nog niet écht geleefd."
Bedankt aan Mr. Ambassador en delegatie voor het bezoek, en aan burgemeester Jonathan Holslag voor deze mooie uitwisseling tussen Tienen en de VS.
