⚡ Castor is now live in FCR with Yuso.

This week we started delivering Frequency Containment Reserve with the Castor battery in the Netherlands. With that, our Dutch set-up covers the full stack:

🔹 Yuso as BRP and BSP

🔹 Day-ahead, intraday and imbalance optimisation

🔹 aFRR and now FCR

🔹 Open-book reporting of every market result to the asset owner

Why does it matter? FCR is often the most stable part of a battery's revenue. Access to every market from day one means the asset owner doesn't leave value on the table.

Castor is now live with Yuso, and the results keep improving as the start-up phase ends. Thanks to the team and to our partners for a smooth onboarding.

Europa begint het stookseizoen met relatief beperkte gasvoorraden, terwijl de gasprijzen al stevig zijn opgelopen. Tegelijk blijft de markt gevoelig voor geopolitieke ontwikkelingen, LNG-aanvoer en veranderingen in de weersverwachtingen. De combinatie van temperatuur, wind en hernieuwbare productie kan daardoor deze winter opnieuw voor stevige prijsbewegingen zorgen.

Licht maakt het verschil 💡

Bij Yuso draait alles om energie slim inzetten. Ook in ons eigen kantoor.

In ons nieuwe kantoor in Waregem zorgde BossLighting (Licht en Elektro Bossuyt BV)voor de volledige verlichting: functioneel licht op de werkplekken, opvallende eyecatchers in onze vergaderzalen en sfeervolle accenten doorheen het hele gebouw.

Onze vraag was eenvoudig, maar niet makkelijk: een werkplek die professioneel én warm en gezellig aanvoelt. Het team van BossLighting combineerde armaturen van verschillende merken tot één doordacht lichtplan, met terugkerende elementen voor samenhang en een eigen karakter voor elke ruimte.

Het resultaat: een kantoor waar licht bijdraagt aan werkcomfort én sfeer, en waar we elke dag graag samenkomen.

🔋 We had a great visit to the Project Volta construction site in Geel this week with Hybrix Energy!

We've worked alongside the Hybrix team since the early days of this project, from price forecasts and revenue modelling all the way to financial close earlier this year. Seeing it take shape on site makes us very proud! ⚡

Volta is a 35 MW / 140 MWh battery on Elia's 150 kV grid, on track to start operating in 2027. Together with its twin project, Yuso will optimise the assets across the full revenue stack.

Thanks to the whole Hybrix team for your trust, and to everyone on site building this project. We can't wait to put Volta to work! 🙌

We are proud to announce that is now also YUSO-certified for the Belgian market. We congratulate the entire Withthegrid team on this important milestone in unlocking flexibility within the Belgian electricity system.
