Three busy days. Countless conversations. Plenty of new ideas.

GreenTech Amsterdam 2026 has come to an end, and we’re looking back on three days filled with great conversations, new connections and a shared passion for more sustainable horticulture.

A big thank you to everyone who visited our booth, met our team and took the time to discover our latest solutions, including our new home compostable breeding sachets.

🐝 What do bumblebees really eat?

Biobest researchers spent two weeks studying bumblebee feeding behaviour at Blueberry Fields in Belgium as part of the European PollinEat project.

The research will help scientists better understand how bumblebees are exposed to pesticides, rather than relying mainly on data from honeybees.

Blueberry Fields was selected because it grows organically and uses no chemical pesticides, making it an ideal baseline location. The farm also hosts around 20,000 bumblebees for blueberry pollination.

The samples are now being analysed, with results expected later this year.

🌱 Maximaal biologisch opkweken? Bij Plantenkwekerij P. van Geest Maasland laten ze zien dat het kan.

In de opkweek van paprikaplanten zetten ze volop in op biologische gewasbescherming, met nuttige insecten als basis en alleen ingrijpen waar nodig.

Het resultaat? Sterke, schone planten die klaar zijn voor een goede start in de teelt.

Mooi om te zien hoe biologische bestrijding steeds meer vertrouwen krijgt in de praktijk.
