ValCUN is proud to announce the installation of our Minerva metal 3D printer at Johns Hopkins Department of Civil and Systems Engineering – a global leader in science, engineering, and public health research.
This marks a major milestone as we expand our presence into the United States!

The Minerva printer will empower JHU researchers and students to work hands-on with our Molten Metal Deposition (MMD) technology, a wire-based, powder-free, and laser-free process that brings metal additive manufacturing closer to real-world deployment.

Yesterday, we celebrated World Bicycle Day! 🚴‍♀️
At ValCUN, we don’t just innovate in the world of Metal Additive Manufacturing, we also care about sustainable choices in our daily lives.
That’s why a part of our team chooses to come to work by bike!
Cycling to work not only helps reduce our carbon footprint, but also keeps us energized and ready to push the boundaries of aluminum 3D printing.

ValCUN just had a great and fruitful introduction to the maritime sector at the conference in Tullamore, Ireland.

This focused event brought together the right people and companies, offering us a highly efficient opportunity to:

- Learn about the sector’s focus and challenges

- Explore how ValCUN’s onboard metal additive manufacturing can strengthen supply chain resilience

- Discover where our unique technology can bring real value

Key takeaway: Even in one of the oldest industries in the world, innovation is still driving the design of future ships. Decarbonization, energy efficiency, and sustainability are high on the agenda, and we’re excited at the thought of contributing to that transformation.
