Hi! We're a Little behind on post schedule but a lot of good things happened!

- We worked a lot on our cansat, went to the semi finals and got Selected for te finals 🥳!
- we completed building the cansat and are testing everything at the moment
- our hoodies arrived!

Hi again! After a month of absence, we're back with great news! We are selected for the semi-finals! Yesterday we went to brussels and received some very positive and helpful feedback about out report. Stay tuned because we're in the last stage of completing our ScanSat and there are a lot of posts coming your way!

Last friday we tested most of our components and they work great! Now we're focussing on bringing it all together and making sure everything will fit in our cansat. We're then going to trow all of our code together and try to communicat with everything using our radio.

Hi again! We're a Little behind on our posts schedule on facebook but here are the latest updates of what's happened. 2 weeks ago we got great news! Our components came in and we we got selected for the second round of the competition. We also went to Brussels for our support session and got a lot of usefull feedback from the engineers!

Hi again! This week we were mainly focusing on our report which is due to monday 22/01. It has a lot of information about our CanSat and is very time consuming to make. We also soldered our ground station and are going to be programming it soon. .

This friday we received our selfmade custom PCB's . Currently we are also focusing on the report. We already have a good amount of questions answered, but there is still a bit to go. The report has to be submitted on the 22 of January.

Happy New Year everyone! We will start our year with our parachute. It's very important to our CanSat since we want to find it in one piece after the launch :))
This year, our New Years resolution is to launch our CanSat later this year. Hopefully we will get that far in the competition. Thank you for your support!

Today we made our first real life concept of the cansat frame. We're waiting on the electronics for our cansat and will hopefully be installing them in a week or so. We also updated our 2D drawings and added a couple of things, so be sure to look at them too.

Yesterday we worked on our design for the ScanSat. This isn't the final version, but we're getting somewhere. There's still one question that remains: What is our secondary mission? Well this year we're going to experiment with, and hopefully successfully use photogrammetry (that's why you can see a camera on the drawings). We want to take a video during our descend, then split it up into pictures and use it in a photogrammetry software called Meshroom. After that, we are going to do a lot of post-processing to create a 3D scan of the landing site. One possible application of this secondary mission idea is to scan inaccessible places, such as very rural or mountainous areas.
