A great week at ADIPEC 2025! 🌍

We’ve had an inspiring and successful time at ADIPEC 2025, connecting with industry peers, partners, and clients from around the world.

One of the highlights of the week was the special visit of H.E. Antoine Delacourt, Belgian Ambassador to the UAE, to our GEOxyz stand. 🇧🇪

It was a pleasure to share our passion for offshore surveying, marine data, and innovative technology. Showcasing how GEOxyz continues to deliver precision below the surface worldwide.

A big thank you to Wouter Degezelle & Craig Davis for representing GEOxyz with great enthusiasm and professionalism throughout the event. We’re proud to represent Belgian expertise on the global stage and thankful for the support from the Belgian delegation at ADIPEC.

From classroom to offshore innovation.

GEOxyz was recently featured in the newspaper, De Morgen, in an article highlighting the fast-growing Drone Applications programme at University of Applied Sciences.

As a proud partner, GEOxyz offers students hands-on learning opportunities through internships, guest lectures and access to real-life marine projects, helping bridge the gap between education and industry.

Our strong presence in Ostend, with the operational hub in the port and new R&D Center opening in Ostend Science Park, a place where research, technology and the blue economy meet.

As a Belgian company with a strategic roadmap for innovation within the blue economy, GEOxyz aims to strengthen its market position through close collaboration with knowledge centers and partners at Ostend Science Park.

Celebrating innovation and team efforts together.

Last week, GEOxyz was honoured with the Corporate Blue Innovation Wave Award for the GeoDrone 6800, recognised as a breakthrough in safe, sustainable and remote offshore surveying.

Today, our CEO Patrick Reyntjens and Lieselot Noppe, Program Manager and proud representative of the team behind the project, took a moment to reflect on this achievement.

The GeoDrone 6800 demonstrates how automation and innovation can transform offshore operations, making them smarter, safer and more efficient.

Showcasing innovation at NAVY Technofest 2025

At GEOxyz, technology is at the heart of what we do. During this year’s Captains of Industry Day, we presented our offshore survey solutions and demonstrated how real-time data and autonomous systems are shaping the future of maritime operations.

On the big screens, visitors could follow live tests of our GeoDrone6800 and GeoDrone3002, highlighting the capabilities of our autonomous platforms.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, visited our stand and exchanged insights on the future of maritime security and innovation. And of course, a special thanks to our team on site for their dedication and professionalism throughout the event.

This week, African Energy Week 2025 has opened in Cape Town, bringing together leaders from across the energy sector.

Our colleagues Wouter Degezelle and Jacques Vancayseele are there to represent GEOxyz, connect with stakeholders and explore opportunities in one of the fastest-evolving energy markets.

With our hub in Namibia and a growing presence across West Africa, Africa is becoming an important part of our global expansion strategy. AEW provides the perfect platform to strengthen partnerships, exchange insights and contribute to the discussions that shape the future of energy.

This time we are heading South: to Cape Town for African Energy Week 2025. 🇿🇦

For GEOxyz, Africa is a region of strategic growth. With our Namibian hub we are supporting both oil and gas activities and the fast-expanding offshore renewables market. At the Port of the Future Autonomous Summit (Port of Antwerp-Bruges, 16 September 2025), GEOxyz introduced the world’s first mobile docking station for Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs).

This breakthrough allows the automatic recovery, recharging and relaunching of USVs, enabling continuous 24/7 survey and surveillance operations. It marks a major step towards fully autonomous maritime solutions.
And this is only the beginning. Future versions will be tailored to different environments and operational needs, paving the way for the next era of autonomous maritime operations.

GEOxyz at the 2nd Offshore Wind Symposium organized by the Society of London 🇬🇧

Today, Morgane Ravilly, Expert Marine Geosciences, represents GEOxyz at the Offshore Wind Symposium organized by the Geological Society of London.

Her presentation -“Integrated Ground Models for long-distance submarine cable routes: a practical approach to CBRA needs”- showcases the work of our Geosciences team in combining geophysical and geotechnical data to support the development of reliable submarine cable routes.

Sharing expertise on platforms like this reflects GEOxyz’s commitment to innovation and to supporting the offshore wind sector with robust, data-driven solutions.
