🌱 CirBioWaste Third Online Training: Closing the Loop at the Source through Community Composting

♻️ On 9 October 2026, the CirBioWaste project brought together around 180 participants for its third online training, focusing on community and decentralised composting as sustainable approaches to bio-waste management.

Key topics included:
🔹 Introduction to community composting and its role in sustainable bio-waste management;
🔹 Practical insights into decentralised composting and local solutions
🔹 Good practices from other Interreg projects;
🔹 Exchange of experiences and discussion on challenges and opportunities;
🔹 Parallel sessions exploring community composting in university campuses and municipalities.

🤝 The training provided an opportunity for municipalities, waste management professionals, project partners and stakeholders from across the Mediterranean region to share knowledge, experiences and practical solutions.

💡 Online Partners Meeting within the frame of the AGRIC Project

🌱 The main goal was to discuss project progress and coordinate next steps and activities planned for the coming months.

🌞 A key topic of discussion was the Train-the-Trainers programme, which aims to strengthen the knowledge and capacities of selected regional experts in agri-photovoltaics (Agri-PV).

Когато се събират отделно, биоотпадъците могат да се превърнат в компост, вместо да попадат в депата за отпадъци.

Чрез разделното събиране на биоотпадъци можем:
♻ Да намалим количеството отпадъци, депонирани на сметища;
🌍 Да намалим емисиите на парникови газове;
🌱 Да подобрим качеството на почвата.

Нека превърнем биологичните отпадъци в решение, а не в проблем!

📢 EAGER Study Visit in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria

☀️ On the 16th and 17th of September 2026, a study visit within the frame of the project EAGER took place in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria.
