🚁 It's been a while since we last talked about our helicopter project... but that doesn't mean progress has stopped—quite the opposite!

Work on our very first helicopter is moving forward at full speed, and we're excited to share that we hope to reveal it to you very soon. We can't wait for you to see it with your own eyes!

At its heart will be a powerful ULPower engine, developed by our trusted friends at ULPower, while the airframe is based on the renowned Kallithea design—a machine that's already turning heads both on the ground and in the sky. 🌍

This helicopter project is a natural next step for us, inspired by the many inquiries we've received from customers around the world. Our goal is to deliver a helicopter that offers the same exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and reliability as our gyrocopters, while providing all the unique capabilities and versatility that make helicopters so special.

We are proud to share that our Managing Director, Mrs. Miglena Kopcheva, representing NIKI Rotor Aviation and as a member of Асоциация на Българската Авиационна Индустрия, participated in a productive working meeting with the General Directorate of Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

Meetings like these provide a valuable opportunity for manufacturers in the aviation industry to engage directly with regulatory authorities, raise important questions, exchange expertise, and ensure that all established procedures are clearly understood and followed.

Developed in response to growing demand for the next generation of Kallithea, the K2 builds on everything pilots already love while offering even greater comfort.
With a slightly taller and longer design, advanced composite rotor blades by Gyro-Tech Composite rotors and heads for your gyro and helicopter, and the legendary Rotax 916iS engine producing 160 HP, it delivers outstanding performance and an even better flying experience.
The larger tank, a total of 80 liters, allows for a longer flight.

Our friend and distinguished Bulgarian military pilot, Niko Kalaydzhiev, has once again made history, becoming a six-time world record holder recognized by the International Air Sports Federation (FAI) and Guinness World Records. 🌍

With exceptional skill, endurance, and determination, he successfully completed an astounding 1,020 takeoffs and landings within just 15 hours at Gorna Oryahovitsa Airport. 🛬

We were honored to be special guests at this extraordinary event, represented by our Founder & CEO, Mr. Nikolay Nikolov and our Executive Director & Co-Owner, Mrs. Miglena Kopcheva, who had the privilege of witnessing this incredible accomplishment firsthand.

We are proud to call Nikolay Kalaydzhiev our friend and are confident that his passion, dedication, and achievements will inspire future generations of pilots and aviation enthusiasts for years to come.
