Solarpro is the largest EPC and O&M player in the photo-voltaic industry in Eastern Europe, with significant presence in other main EU markets, such as the Netherlands, Germany, France, Portugal etc. The Group started its PV business in 2009, with total installed capacity of about 5 GWp to date and with over 1000 highly-skilled employees. The Company is very active in structuring self-consumption PV projects for its industrial and commercial clients, applying long-term rental agreements (Solar as a service - SaaS) or Private Power Purchase Agreements (Private PPAs). As one of Solarpro's HR Experts, Eleonora is involved in nearly every stage of the employee journey, from recruiting future team members and welcoming new colleagues to organizing company-wide initiatives, employee events and volunteer campaigns that bring us all together. Behind her bright smile and endless enthusiasm lies an important responsibility: helping build the teams that drive Solarpro forward while making sure every colleague feels welcomed, supported and part of the company from day one.

The best way to kick off summer? Together, outdoors, and with a shared purpose! Nearly 100 colleagues from across the Solarpro Group rolled up their sleeves to take part in our largest volunteer campaign to date, joining green initiatives across Sofia, Asenovgrad, Boyadzhik, Silistra, and Varna, Bulgaria.

Together, the cleaned and revitalized parks and green spaces, improved public areas and supported places that hold a special meaning for local communities, from botanical gardens and nature reserves to memorial parks and social centers. To help ensure these efforts have a lasting impact, we also donated benches, trimmers, flowers, trees, wheelbarrow, hoses, and gardening equipment to support the ongoing maintenance of these spaces.

For us, working towards a more sustainable future is more than delivering renewable energy projects. It is also about caring for the environment around us, supporting local communities and leaving a positive impact wherever we operate.

One more podium finish for the Technical University of Sofia team at Shell Eco-marathon Europe 2026! 🚗⚡

Competing against 137 teams and more than 5,000 students from around the world at Silesia Ring, Poland, the team achieved an outstanding 3rd place in the highly competitive Urban Concept category. Despite temperatures exceeding 40°C, they successfully completed three race attempts and secured another remarkable result for Bulgaria.

For a second consecutive year, Solarpro is proud to support these talented young engineers as they turn innovative ideas into real-world engineering solutions. Their achievement is the result of months of dedication, technical excellence and teamwork, proving that the future of sustainable mobility and energy is being shaped by the next generation of innovators.

At Solarpro, we believe that investing in young talents is one of the most meaningful investments we can make. Supporting engineering education, innovation and practical development is part of our long-term commitment.

Final day at Intersolar Europe for the ! ☀️

With plenty of sunshine setting the perfect backdrop for the world's leading solar and renewable energy exhibition, we had three fantastic days filled with inspiring conversations, valuable meetings and exciting new opportunities.

Over the past three days, we were excited to welcome clients, partners, colleagues and many new faces to our booth. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to exchange ideas, discuss new opportunities and explore the future of renewable energy together. The many conversations throughout the week once again showed the importance of collaboration, innovation and strong partnerships in driving the energy transition forward.

This year's edition was particularly exciting for us. We were proud to showcase Solarpro's growing portfolio of large-scale PV and BESS projects across Europe and demonstrate our capabilities as a leading EPC & O&M partner delivering complex renewable energy solutions – from utility-scale solar parks and battery energy storage systems to hybrid projects and grid infrastructure.

A special thank you goes to our incredible team, whose hard work, dedication and expertise made not only this week a success but continue to drive Solarpro forward every day. 💚

👉 Solarpro Technology AD is proud to announce the successful commissioning of a 602 MWh battery energy storage project in Burgas, Bulgaria, delivered in partnership with CATL.

🔋 As Bulgaria’s largest battery energy storage facility and currently the largest operational BESS project in Eastern Europe, the project marks an important step in the region’s energy transition. The facility increases Bulgaria’s total energy storage capacity by 10%, supporting the integration of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar while strengthening the reliability and stability of the national power system.

🤝 Solarpro Technology AD was the EPC contractor for the project and the close collaboration between both teams played an important role in bringing the facility into operation efficiently and reliably.

👉 The project is powered by CATL’s TENER energy storage system, the world’s first 6MWh-class zero-degradation solution. It delivers high capacity, advanced safety and long-term performance to one of the region’s most significant energy infrastructure developments. Building on this successful partnership, CATL and Solarpro Technology AD will continue to strengthen and expand their energy storage cooperation across the region over the next two years.

With experience across both design engineering and site ex*****on, Mihir brings a unique perspective that helps identify opportunities for improvement during the design phase, supporting smoother construction later.

The future of energy starts with today’s conversations💡

Our colleague Alexandru Cosmin Gheorghe, Head of Quality Department, recently had the pleasure of visiting The Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering part of Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti, Romania, where he introduced students to Solarpro and provided insights into our work in the renewable energy field.

Beyond introducing the company, Alexandru discused the rapid development of the sector, the opportunities ahead and the skills needed to succeed in a dynamic and evolving industry. He also encouraged students to invest in their education and personal growth, as they prepare for their professional journey.

Gabriel Nenov, Head of Energy Storage Systems at Solarpro, recently took part in Balkan Battery Day in Athens, joining the panel discussion “BESS Market Outlook Across the Region” alongside other industry leaders and experts.

A key takeaway from the panel was the Balkans’ strong potential for battery storage development, with the main market drivers already in place. Bulgaria currently holds the leading position in the region in terms of completed BESS projects, while neighboring markets are expected to accelerate their development in the coming years.

The discussion also highlighted the critical role of speed in bringing new projects to market. In this rapidly developing sector, timing and early mover advantage continue to play a key role.

👏 This week, we continue celebrating important milestones! Together with Eldrive Romania, Renalfa and TOKI Romania, we are proud to officially open our new shared office in Oregon Park, Bucharest. This office is a representation for our shared vision for growth and desire for stronger collaboration across Renalfa Solarpro Group.

During the official opening, representatives from all four companies shared insights into our long-term ambitions in renewable energy, e-mobility, energy trading and infrastructure development.

Kamen Nedyalkov, Country Manager of Solarpro Romania, highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering projects on time and at the highest quality standards. “This is part of our ambition to further develop the market and continue growing together with our partners,” he said.
