Cooperative miniere de grand lac The objective is minerals exploitation in the community of countries of great lakes including Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi and Rwanda.

Cooperative miniere de grand lac (CMGL) is a newly established mining company in Burundi since the beginning of 2015, and has been recognized by the Burundian government as one of companies allowed to exploit and export minerals (see NIF: 40005250081) . Furthermore, CMGL is in partnership with Congolese artisanal mining companies that work in the southern part of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC

) and Katanga (DRC). Onsite production methods of minerals are artisanal . The quality of any produced mineral is analyzed by well established South African laboratories that are in partnership with CMGL. As an illustration, figure 1 shows some of minerals obtained from CMGL Congolese (DRC) and Burundian mining sites. As staff members in charge with mining activities, CMGL has: a geologist engineer, a physicist researcher , medical doctors and a corps of nurses, mining sites supervisors, teams of leaders over laborers, teams of temporary mining laborers and security guards.
