Meu pai foi campeão brasileiro de esqui nos anos 70, em um país sem neve e sem tradição.
O que mais me marcou não foram os títulos, mas a coragem de persistir quando ninguém acreditava, a disciplina de treinar sem estrutura, e a ousadia de acreditar no impossível.
E assim ele fez história!
Hoje, ver Lucas Pinheiro Braathen conquistando o mundo é ver essa história se expandir.
Ele leva o nome do Brasil ao topo do esqui mundial e inspira outros a sonhar maior e acreditar também.
O legado brasileiro no esqui começou na coragem e continua na coragem de quem transforma o impossível em realidade.

My father was the Brazilian ski champion in the 1970s, in a country with no snow and no tradition.
What struck me the most wasn’t the titles, but the courage to persist when no one believed, the discipline to train without proper resources, and the boldness to believe in the impossible.
And that’s how he made history!
Today, seeing Lucas Pinheiro Braathen conquering the world is witnessing that history expand.
He carries Brazil’s name to the top of the skiing world and inspires others to dream bigger and believe in themselves too.
The Brazilian legacy in skiing began with the courage and continues with the courage of those who turn the impossible into reality.
