The formation of our marble started with deposits of marine sediments 2.5 billion years ago. 850 million years ago there was a metamorphosis when the granite comes from the center of the earth in the form of magma at high temperature and high pressure and transforms the limestone deposit into marble, inserting in its composition elements originated from the geological formation of granites.

The result is our unique marble deposit that sits on the top of a granite mountain like a hat. In few places in the world marble occurs on the top of a granite mountain and when this occurs this marble is extremely hard and has very fine grains.
