AWC would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our partners for the role they played in making our Welcome Back to School event held on Friday 29th September, 2023 a complete success. We are happy that our Creative Conversations under the theme "Think Well, Be Well" was indeed fruitful.
Thank you to the Principals and Staff of the Clara E Evans, Lowe Sound, Rozelda M. Woodside, and B. A. Newton Primary Schools for a welcoming and heartwarming visit. To all the Students, you guys Rock! Each visit gave us so much joy, as you the students are the reason AWC hosts such events.
To our speakers, Rev, Dr. Raymond Neilly, Mr. Edward Martin, and Officer Albury St. Louis thank you for the integral part you all played in educating our primary school students on the topics Self-confidence, Self-esteem, Bullying, and Peer Pressure; because of you, students are now equipped with the knowledge and power to assist in making healthier choices.
Also, to our Sponsor Bahamas Materials Company Ltd. your continued support and partnership played a vital role in the success of this event. It has provided reinforcement on the importance of students having a healthier snack option, as fruits are a part of a healthy diet.
Together, AWC along with our partners successfully delivered the message to our youth that if we all renew our minds to " Think Well" we can definitely "Be Well" by making healthier choices everyday.
