Civil/Structural Engineering consulting services, Project Management/Design, pre-contract services, construction supervision and post contract services

The following 6 positions are made available to suitable candidates.
1. PROJECT MANAGER: 1 POSITION
QUALIFICATION: BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN CIVIL / TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING AND A REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER EXPERIENCE: >10 YEARS
• extensive relevant experience including a working knowledge of the disciplines involved as team leader in design of roads projects (in particular alignment design, pavement design, hydrology/ drainage design, materials investigation, cost engineering and safety issues)
• Experience in managing major road projects for similar assignments, particularly in coordinating a multi-disciplinary team of experts.
• Experience in the preparation of Bidding Documents for using the FIDIC forms of Contract is required. Experience in roads design and construction in Botswana is essential and will be beneficial.

2. SOILS/ MATERIAL ENGINEER: 1 Position
QUALIFICATION: BACHELOR’ DEGREE IN GEOLOGY OR CIVIL ENGINEERING AND A REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL.
EXPERIENCE: > 8 YEARS
Experience in field of assignment of soil Engineering survey, analysis, testing of soil and pavement designs in Bridge and roads works
3. SURVEYOR: 1 POSITION
QUALIFICATION: BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN SURVEYING AND A REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL
EXPERIENCE: > 8 YEARS Experience including a working knowledge of the disciplines involved as surveyor in construction of roads projects (in particular alignment design

4. ASSISTANT SURVEYORS: 1 Position
QUALIFICATION: Diploma in Surveying and a registered professional
Experience: > 4 Years
• extensive relevant experience including a working knowledge of the disciplines involved as surveyor in construction of roads projects (in particular alignment design

5. QA LABORATORY MANAGE: 1 POSITION
QUALIFICATION: DIPLOMA IN CIVIL/HIGHWAY ENGINEERING AND REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL
EXPERIENCE: > 4 YEARS
• Extensive relevant experience including a working knowledge of the disciplines involved as Material Technician in construction of roads projects (field of assignment of soil Engineering survey, analysis and testing of soil samples for road and bridge works)

6. QA INSPECTORS: 1 POSITION
QUALIFICATION: DIPLOMA IN CIVIL/HIGHWAY ENGINEERING AND REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL
EXPERIENCE: > 4 YEARS
• Extensive relevant experience including a working knowledge of the disciplines involved as Inspectors Technician in construction of roads projects (field of assignment of soil Engineering survey, analysis and testing of soil samples for road and bridge works inspections)
