Exploration continues at the Zutshwa Salt Project
Geosphere Solutions recently conducted a reconnaissance visit to PL246/2025 in the Zutshwa area as we continue building our understanding of the project's salt potential.
During the visit, we successfully located some of the historical boreholes drilled within the project area. The reconnaissance also gave us an opportunity to observe the salt-pan environment and better understand the surface conditions across the project area.
Our next exploration phase will involve a geophysical survey, most likely using electrical resistivity, to investigate subsurface conditions and assist in identifying priority exploration targets.
The results of the geophysical survey will help guide an **exploration drilling program planned for Q1 2027. Following drilling, groundwater/brine samples will be collected for hydrochemical analysis to better understand the salinity and chemical composition of the subsurface fluids.
Our exploration journey is therefore progressing systematically:
Reconnaissance ➡️ Geophysics ➡️ Drilling ➡️ Groundwater/Brine Sampling ➡️ Hydrochemical Analysis
There is still significant technical work ahead, but each stage brings us closer to understanding the full potential of the Zutshwa Salt Project.
