Meaningful impact begins with showing up, building partnerships and supporting communities wherever we can. It starts with a commitment to make a difference, one community at a time. This past weekend, we were pleased to donate waste bins to the Zion Christian Church (ZCC), supporting cleaner and healthier surroundings.We also joined Tebo Ya Bokamoso Trust for the launch of the Adopt-a-Classroom Initiative at Thabololo Primary School, investing in a better learning environment for our children.We are calling on our stakeholders, business partners and other organisations to join us in extending meaningful support to our communities. Together, we can do more, reach further and create lasting impact.

Two Days. Two Communities. One Shared Commitment💜

Over the past two days, we had the privilege of taking part in Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness engagements in Mmadinare Village and Mapakata Settlement. These engagements provided an important opportunity to engage with community members, create safe spaces for conversation, raise awareness about GBV, and encourage communities to speak up, support survivors and stand together against violence.

GBV is not just a women’s issue; it is a community issue. Ending GBV requires all of us to take responsibility and actively contribute to creating safer, respectful and supportive communities. A heartfelt thank you to the communities of Mmadinare and Mapakate for participating in these important conversations.

We were proud to sponsor and participate in the SPSS Staff Awards 2026, celebrating the dedication, commitment and excellence of the school’s staff. We proudly mark this remarkable milestone of 1,080,451 Lost Time Injury-Free Manhours. This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to safety, Teamwork and the belief that Zero harm is possible.

During our stand down, each department reflected on past mistakes, pledged stronger commitments and embraced the theme:Reset, Reflect, Refocus. Together we reinforced our culture of vigilance, accountability and care for one another ensuring ZERO (0) fatality PTD remains our daily goal.

This success belongs to every employee who owns their safety, protects their colleagues and lives the principle:Safety first, production second. Let's continue to build on this achievement and keep raising the bar for safety excellence.

The event, officially opened by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Botswana, Advocate Duma Gideon Boko, provided a valuable opportunity to engage with industry leaders, policymakers, and key stakeholders on topics including innovation, responsible mining, economic diversification, and sustainable growth. These conversations are essential in fostering collaboration, strengthening partnerships, and unlocking opportunities that will create long-term value for both the mining sector and the nation. Bringing Warmth & Sharing Hope.

In partnership with the Rotary Club, NexMetals Mining Corp Botswana donated winter fleeces, fruits, and other essential items to Rekakgona Rehabilitation Centre, while also contributing clothing to Humana Botswana as part of our Winter Donation Drive.

Rekakgona Rehabilitation Centre plays a vital role in empowering vulnerable youth and persons living with disabilities through rehabilitation, practical skills training, and a safe, nurturing environment that fosters hope, dignity, and independence.

This initiative reflects our shared commitment to giving back and supporting those who need it most. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Rotary Club and Citrus Farm for partnering with us to make a meaningful difference in our community.

*Inspiring the next generation; one tour at a time*

We just hosted Standard 7 learners from Boitumelo Primary School for an educational site tour. The visit offered the learners a firsthand look into the exciting world of mining; from understanding how minerals are explored and extracted to learning about the importance of health and safety.

We believe that every tour is an opportunity to ignite curiosity, broaden horizons, and inspire young minds to dream beyond the classroom. At NexMetals Mining Corp, we remain committed to investing in education, empowering our communities, and shaping Botswana's future workforce; one tour at a time.

Day 1 Reflections | Future of Mining Summit 2026

What an inspiring start to the Future of Mining Summit 2026. Day 1 brought together visionary leaders, industry experts, policymakers, and innovators who shared valuable insights on how mining can drive economic diversification, sustainable development, and shared prosperity. The discussions reinforced that the future of mining extends beyond mineral extraction, it is about creating lasting value for people, communities, and the economy.

Some of the key themes that resonated throughout the day included: Unlocking economic transformation through responsible mining, Strengthening local value chains and citizen empowerment, Investing in innovation, technology, and operational excellence, Building resilient partnerships between government, industry, financial institutions, and communities, Embedding ESG principles as a foundation for sustainable growth.

Starting off Day 2. We look forward to continuing these important conversations and exploring even more opportunities to transform mining into a catalyst for inclusive and sustainable development. Together, we are shaping the future of mining.
