We are proud to share that FEERS has been officially included in the STI Solutions Book that will launch this coming week at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) STI Forum 2026, under the United Nations Science, Technology and Innovation Framework.
Out of more than 900 global innovations submitted, FEERS has been recognized among the top solutions addressing complex and interconnected development challenges worldwide. This milestone represents more than visibility; it is a strong validation of the work, research, and systems thinking that underpin the development of this technology.
FEERS was built to address a critical gap in the global energy transition. While much of the world’s focus remains on increasing energy generation, our work centers on how energy is consumed, where inefficiencies exist, and how those inefficiencies can be systematically optimized at the point of use.
Through an integrated hardware and software ecosystem, FEERS enables real-time energy monitoring, translates consumption into financial impact, and provides actionable insights that drive both behavioral and operational change. With capabilities such as remote switching and intelligent control, the system is designed to support scalable application across households, businesses, and urban infrastructure.
At its core, FEERS is not simply a product, but an evolving energy intelligence infrastructure that contributes to climate action, efficient resource use, and the development of smarter, more sustainable systems. It reflects a shift toward data-driven energy management and more responsible consumption patterns.
To see this work recognized on a global platform by the United Nations reinforces a belief that has guided this journey from the beginning: the future of sustainability will depend not only on how we produce energy, but on how effectively we understand and optimize its use.
As we continue to refine, deploy, and scale FEERS, this recognition strengthens our commitment to advancing African-led innovation that contributes meaningfully to global development priorities.
